Excellent hotel and staff
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Room was extremely comfortable. Very good food (vegetarian) at very reasonable prices.

Cons:

Nothing....the hotel and staff were great.

It was very handy to where we were going
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, the food was lovely and there was a great atmosphere. Centrally located in Monmouth. Breakfast wasn't served until 8.00 so we had to leave before it as we had to move our car.

Cons:

There was no parking. The bar was lovely but the halls etc were very grubby. Perhaps more attention to detail e.g. there was no shampoo in the shampoo dispenser in the shower. There was tea in the room but no coffee.

Enjoyable. Will return.
Pros:

Centrally located. Issued with own key to dude door to hotel for late entry. Staff were very welcoming.
Room had great view down Main Street and across the Market Square.

Cons:

Breakfast not available on Sunday mornings so had to go to local coffee shop. It was open from 8 am so that was good but missed not having a hotel breakfast available.

Great location for arriving/departing by coach/bus

The rooms were very spacious with plenty of teas / coffees free great location

Cons:

The shower was nice only moan was mildew on the sealant which made it look in clean a good squirt of bleach would resolve this

Disappointing ...
Pros:

The location right in centre of Monmouth is amazing, views from room, brilliant. Staff we dealt with lovely.

Cons:

The room we had was very disappointing. Dirty - needs a good clean. Consideration of furniture to space, too many chairs and large furniture for size of room, could be so much better with some thought and modernization. Bathroom basic. Beds never made in 3 nights, little to no room service.
