Easy walk to main attractions
Pros:

Good value hotel with excellent complimentary breakfast
Small pool and laundry room for guests

Cons:

The area was very close to several church homeless shelters which meant that you had to be alert when walking downtown. Front desk showed us the best and easiest way to walk along St Patrick’s without specify any reasons.

Good hotel shame about public behaviours outside Establishment. .
Pros:

Breakfast was basic but ok. Hotel close to markets, eateries, main sights.

Cons:

Felt uncomfortable waking around area. Across the road is a main homeless hub which gathers trouble daily.

Good comfortable hotel
Pros:

Location is quite close to many Ottawa attractions and riverside parks. Breakfast was great - lots of choices, nice breakfast area. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and comfortable and were quiet. This hotel met all our needs for a weekend in Ottawa at a reasonable price for the city.

Cons:

King Edward is a major road, easy to reach and use, but exiting the hotel you have to go towards Quebec because it is divided. We did find a roundabout that allows you to get to the other side of King Edward. The surrounding streets are a bit of a maze of one way streets. Parking in the underground on-site parking is limited and ran out during our stay. Fortunately there was a nearby lot two blocks away that worked fine. There is a homeless shelter a couple of blocks away but that has no effect on the hotel itself.
