Airport Kumsal Otel

Super friendly staff. They arranged our transfers and we didn’t have to move a finger. The food in the restaurant is tasty and fresh. We got a room with ocean view with a balcony. We would come back.

Staff was kind and lovely, we stayed one night and had a great stay in their clean, quiet rooms. The view of the Black Sea is amazing. Omer and the rest of the staff were so kind and helped us arrange our taxi to the airport the next day.

Communication was excellent. Scheduling transportation with the hotel was excellent. Constant communication throughout the day as our flight was delayed 5 times and still the hotel worked on getting us picked up from the airport once we landed in Istanbul. The ocean was right outside our balcony but with the flight delays and later check in we weren't able to explore or see it. I would stay here again.

Sejour horrible heureusement que deux nuits passées dans cet hotel à 100 € la nuit !!!
On y avait sejourné une nuit et je n'avais retenu que le vue au petit matin. Là on nous a donné une chambre minuscule (alors que c'était pour 3 personnes) avec une propreté douteuse qu'on nous a changée après nos réclamations. La deuxième n'était pas bien mieux à part un petit balcon.
Seuls points positifs la vue magnifique et la serviabilité du responsable qui nous a reçus.
Le point le plus negatif la grossièreté de la femme de chambre et son ménage insupportable à 9h du matin !
Bref je ne recommande pas du tout !

Amazing view of the sea. Room was clean and worked well for one night. Prices seemed high for the cafe.

Nice stay, calm area, good staf. Recommend rooms with balconey.

Very clean, bed was comfortable, shower was useless, the door rattled in its frame and the door to the balcony was difficult to lock & unlock.
The man who met us at the reception was very nice. It was a handy place to stay for our last night as it was near the airport.

The location was good right on the Black Sea

My flight was canceled so i needed a place to stay for at least 1 or 2 nights. Having already stayed the La Quinta by Wyndham in Istanbul for 2 nights, i wanted different scenery and relative close vicinity to the airport. I decided to check this spot out.
I took a cab to Karaburun and the drive there was absolutely charming. The countryside scenery was picturesque with small country roads, farm animals and pretty flowers. The restaurant part of the hotel was open air and it was a very, very hot day. The first room i was given had a beach front balcony view which was amazing but the on shore breeze kept rattling the front door, sleeping in that room would be a problem so they offered me a different room which turned out to be equally as good if not better. I kept the balcony door open but also used the ac which was fine.
The hotel has a restaurant with about 2 dozen meals to choose from ranging from $10-$20 plates of traditional meals. There is a small local market next door for any snacks or additional beverages you may desire. The beaches were fairly clean with a few gentle and playful dogs roaming free.
The area is basically a small and quiet beachfront property with as local feel to it. Charming and hospitable.

I liked the property being small family run, compact and very friendly. What you pay for what you get is great. When you pay about £50 a night for a room you dont expect much. I got a very clean room , with balcony facing the sea, compact shower/toilet room with wash basin, also including some shampoo bottles. Hair dryer, kettle and tea and coffee facilities in room. Very comftable memory foam mattress, good pillows and quilt. Furniture on balcony (plastic) 2 x chairs and a small table. Breakfast was extra, either toasted cheese toastie, or a traditional Turkish breakfast platter-tea or coffee or what ever else you wanted to drink. Dinner was also available from about 10 different meals. I sampled 2 meals both very nice. Yet again very inexpensive. They accept cash or credit/debit cards. Limited parking at hotel but plenty availabilty on the road opposite which was not a problem.

very friendly owner-family, very helpfull, usefull information, car park directly at the hotel, just at the beach, supermarket nearby, tasty breakfast, very flexible, definitelly worth a stay :-) we liked it
