Everything is ok except that there is no lift to go upstairs. We need to carry our big luggages to upstairs
不錯!
A very warm welcome and a super comfortable stay at the Hotel. It's beautifully designed and the room while small was perfect, and had everything we needed, and the balcony overlooking the square was really great. Perfect place to relax and people-watch! Will be returning. OH... and the Restaurant downstairs is amazing!
Hôtel bien situé, accueil chaleureux et chambre confortable
Lovely small hotel, very welcoming. Situated near the centre and amphitheatre on a quiet square.
There certainly are some things to recommend this hotel: (1) it is an easy walk from/to the train station (2) all the rooms look out over the square which is charming and have little balconys (3) shutters make the rooms very dark for sleeping (4) good rate (5) sister restaurant across the square had a very good menu du jour. (5) We stayed in January but the room heater was excellent & the extra coverlet made us very cozy.
What was not great?
Room cleaning took place both days between 2-3 pm. The first day it meant we had to leave our suitcases in the sister-restaurant across the square when we arrived (even though there was luggage storage in the hotel...?)
The second day we had to wait to put our feet up after lunch, and the cleaning solutions they use are so strong my throat hurt both days (first time ever for that experience.)
Secondly, the shower has good pressure, looks nice, but is placed directly across from the opening so there is no way to avoid soaking the floor. All they need to do is install a second shower head hook on right-angle wall of the shower to avoid this ... ? Very odd.
Small changes could have made for a much better experience
This little hotel has friendly helpful staff, convenient location to sites of interest, and reasonably convenient location to free parking at the train station. The interior was not glamorous, but that's okay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hotel also has a nice cafe for meals, including breakfast. Madame Constance was particularly helpful, as well as knowledgeable about wines and food pairing. No AC, but they provided a floor fan. We were there in September when the days were hot, but the room was comfortable at night. So nice to sit out on the little balcony and watch the square below.
oui je recommande
Hotel was nice staff friendly. Room did not have Aircon but we were provided with fans a and bug spray to sleep with windows open. Under the circumstances we though this was good
Personnel charmant. Chambre propre mais succincte, sans TV.
Taxe de séjour élevée par rapport à d’autres hôtels en ville.
Bonne situation.
Great location and marvelous staff!
super rapport qualite prix. jolie deco, emplacement central. personnel tres agreable.
First, it has fantastic location and very nice view to small plaza.Secondly, hotel manager was so kind.
I enjoyed the sleek, modern design of the room and its facilities. A hair dryer would have been nice to have. The room faced front with a small balcony, just above a couple of cafes, so cigarette smoke was a problem when the balcony doors were open. I chose to have breakfast in the cafes/market for quite a it less than the 9.5 Euros at the hotel.
Loudest hotel I have ever been in. Yes, it’s on a “lively” square, but what must be clarified is that by lively they mean music, bongo drums, clapping, whistling, and shouting til the wee hours of the morning. I couldn’t sleep of course but I did find it charming in its own way; however, what was not charming were the garbage truck and drivers picking up trash through the square at 6:45 am, the workers clanking cans and shouting back and forth to each other. The hotel was stiflingly hot but has no air con. I paid extra for a room with a double bed and a bunk bed, planning for my daughter to sleep in the bunk. But the ceiling fan doesn’t do any good for the bunks so she slept with me in the double bed. 5 floors, no elevator. Lights in hallways not working properly so you often carry your bags in the dark. One of the main employees - an exceptionally kind and customer service oriented woman - told me I could find another place for our second night and they would let me out of my reservation with no charge. So I made another reservation. However, upon checkout the male manager said that what the woman said didn’t count and that I had to pay regardless. I don’t have enough space to go into the details of how he lied to me, but trust me when I say that this guy is no good. The other hotel that I made a reservation at turned out to be cleaner, way nicer, quiet, had air-conditioning, was equally well located, and was €45 cheaper! My advice: don’t even bother with this place.
