Perfect oasis in Venice
Pros:

Madama Garden retreat is truly lovely. The garden is beautiful. We didn’t get the breakfast but they served us wine and snacks there in the evening. Tonia made us reservations at small local restaurants with outstanding food. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for four of us traveling together. Our windows overlooked the canals so we were able to see lots of activity. The location is close enough to get to the major tourist sites. But if you go the other direction it is less crowded.

Cons:

We were there at the change over from heat to air-conditioning. One night our room got hot. We loved the canals but if you are bothered by noise you might want a room away from the canals.

Pros:

Our overall experience at Madama Garden retreat was excellent. The room was spectacular and the staff were very accommodating. Our location was perfect and the breakfast was excellent. If we return to Venice we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Boutique Hotel Off the Beaten Tourist Path
Pros:

Lovely boutique property out of the hustle bustle of the tourist area of Venice. One of a kind green garden sitting area unlike anywhere else in Venice. My husband and I loved walking everywhere from this conveniently located hotel. The host is extremely accommodating and we loved the beautiful views during our stay.
