Pros:

We stayed 5 nights. Like most of the hotels these days, you are provided with self check-in terminals. The staff assist if you are not able to navigate your way through the process.
Our room was clean and the facilities met our needs.
We were able to walk to most of the points of interest in Kyoto.
There is a subway rail & bus stop close to the hotel.
We would certainly rebook if returning to Kyoto.

great sized-room. quieter neighborhood but with a 7-11 across the street and 24 hour grocery store and family mart down the street. bench and carpet had noticeable stains. option to receive free drinks in exchange for not cleaning room for a night! front desk held our luggage for the day after check out

This hotel had the largest room on a budget!! I really enjoyed this hotel with the massage chair and leg especially after a day of walking in Japan. They held our luggage after checking out, which was great for us to keep exploring. The room's AC was always on which is great after a Summer day!

We had a lovely stay here. Very convenient and easy to walk to the main shopping district and sites. The room was nice and very clean. It was a better size room than APA but still quite tight for 2 persons with luggage. The coffee machine downstairs was also a nice touch. We also appreciated the bottles of water. We would happily stay here again.
