Have now stayed twice at this hotel for business. It’s a great, quiet, easy to navigate location with ample parking and onsite food/drinks. The staff cares and is helpful - particularly the great staff working the bar in serving food and drinks. The property however, is in desperate need of help to elevate this hotel to where is should be, considering its great location and amount of business travelers is serves. The common areas are extremely worn out - torn couches, scuffed walls, old / grimy tables, chairs and booths, worn out hallways and elevators. My first stay had me in a relatively clean room. For my second and most recent stay, the room was rather dirty and beat up. I cleaned the room with disinfect wipes as there were layers of dust on everything- and I pulled grime off of most surfaces. The lampshades were broken, desk and carpet appears to have been stained with nail polish and in general, the room, furniture and floors were sad and uncomfortable. Also, for some reason, on the 4th floor where my room was located, there was often a musty/stale odor that lingered in the hallways.
Marriott needs to do the right thing and invest in this property sooner than later. Renovation is desperately needed so that the public and private spaces of this hotel matches the level of service provided by the hotel’s hardworking staff.
NA
I chose this property for the night before flying back home to the southeast, because of its close proximity to the West County Center Mall, where I wanted to visit before my flight out the next day.
The check-in experience was great. I was thanked for being a Platinum Bonvoy member and I went straight up to my room.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the concierge lounge open and even though it was past the "dinner" hour, there were still some hot dinner items out and I availed myself of them.
The next morning I attended breakfast in the lounge also. Both the evening and morning food presentations were wonderful, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the lounge.
I wish all lounges would be open every day. In this day and age, there's not really any reason to close it down on weekends. Business happens 7 days a week, and business travel happens 7 days a week. Time to take a cue from the Club M Lounge playbook and have the lounge open seven days a week.
The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. I would return here again when business requires travel to the area.
Stayed at this location for a conference for 6 nights. Checked in on a Wednesday evening and out on a Tuesday morning. Check in and front desk staff were pleasant. Actually all staff encountered were kind.
For the price paid however, the level of cleanliness could have been improved upon. In the morning of my 3rd day I called to request a refresh of the room, as it hadn’t been touched since arrival. I was told by front desk staff that it was to have happened daily. Upon my return that same evening, the room still hadn’t been touched or cleaned. I called the front desk again to request the trash to be taken out and a full clean the next morning. They immediately sent someone to take out the trash. By lunch the next day a cleaning staff had been in the room and wiped the sink counter, but didn’t clean, sweep, refresh towels, vacuum or change bedding. Upon another request for the room to be cleaned, I did return over my lunch break to find someone refreshing the sheets, but again, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and towels hadn’t been refreshed. Upon my last evening (a Monday night) my room had been adequately and complete refreshed.
Needless to say there was a lot in regard to cleaning and upkeep that this location could improve upon.
Friendly staff and amazing bar/restaurant
The location was a bit confusing.
I really appreciated the amenities and would buy the bathroom products if they were available for purchase.
Lokalizacja blisko miejsca pracy
Dosyć stary budynek. W pokoju były mrówki. W szufladzie otwarte puszki po coca-coli niesprzątnięte po poprzednim gościu. Bardzo ale to bardzo kiepski wybór śniadań! Bez warzyw!
This hotel is great. Great location, great restaurant. Had an issue with my first 2 rooms but the management took care of it. Great hospitality in a not fun late night situation. I’ve stayed here 4 times in the last year and will be back again soon!
Front lobby was nice and clean, front desk girl who checked me in was super nice. Got to room and it was really worn, spots and mystery stains on walls, filthy vent in bathroom, no bar soap in bathroom. When we asked the housekeeper for soap she said they were out. What?? Ended up going to Target to buy some. Asked for a connecting room which we were given, but the deadbolt wouldn’t turn so we couldn’t utilize the connection. TV was good and was able to stream, beds appeared clean. I wiped the room down with lysol wipes and there was a lot of grime that came off surfaces. Hotel rooms definitely need a good scrub and refurbished.
All of the staff were extremely nice and the lobby had tons of good meet up spaces, but the room wasn't amazing. I stayed here 20 years ago and remember the rooms feeling a little dated. Nothing has changed since then. Aside from that, it did feel clean and I did sleep well all three nights. I would pass on the breakfast - seemed out of basic items most mornings, like eggs, fruit, etc., but maybe I just picked the wrong time to go.
Worse Marriott I have ever stayed. Old, smells humid, fitness center is old, most of the equipment is broken. M Club is no good, very little food and not many options. Worth to drive farther for a better hotel. I won’t be staying here again.
I like softer beds
Very nice
Didn’t enjoy this Marriott at all! Staff is limited during the night mind rude also!! The hotel
Just had an old dusty feel to it!! I enjoyed the hot water and pressure of the shower
Great room and friendly staff
Ample free self parking. Friendly staff. Clean. Free bottled water.
Many areas of the hotel are simply run down. Not worth paying any sort of premium.
