Ubicación y chica de recepción
La ubicación es excelente y queremos destacar la amabilidad de la persona de recepción, que fue siempre muy atenta.
Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia quedó marcada por el trato de la propietaria. El segundo día, un miembro de nuestro grupo que no hablaba español utilizó el baño de las zonas comunes y fue reprendido a gritos y de muy malas maneras. A partir de ese momento, el trato hacia nosotros cambió por completo.
Las habitaciones son muy básicas y no tienen ventanas al exterior; únicamente una pequeña apertura sobre la puerta hacia un patio techado, por lo que la ventilación es prácticamente inexistente. El desayuno también fue muy escaso para el precio del alojamiento.
Además, aunque inicialmente nos confirmaron que podríamos dejar las maletas y utilizar el baño después del check-out, finalmente nos lo negaron e insistieron en que abandonáramos el establecimiento de inmediato.
Oaxaca es una ciudad maravillosa y, por un precio similar o incluso inferior, hay muchas opciones con mejores instalaciones y, sobre todo, con una hospitalidad muy superior. Es una pena, porque la excelente ubicación de este alojamiento queda completamente eclipsada por la experiencia vivida.
L’emplacement de cette posada est idéale. Une impression d’ouverture récente. Les chambres sont grandes, propres et la literie est très bonne.
La SDB est moderne et vaste. Le personnel (une le jour l’autre la nuit) est au petit soin même la propriétaire est sympathique. Je recommande vivement.

El lugar esta genial, muy limpio, muy acogedor. La ubicación es excelente, a una cuadra del templo de santo domingo y el andador turístico. La joven que nos atendió en el día y el señor en la noche, ambos geniales. Atentos, trato cordial y siempre con la mejor disposición. En las mañanas te dan un pequeño desayuno, fruta, café y pan de la casa.
Very friendly staff, 24/7 person on site. Excellent location, multiple parades went right past the front door. Really good wifi. Comfortable bed.
It can get noisy given you are so close to the action, particularly on the weekend. The shower takes a while to warm up, and only really gets like warm.
Gorgeous space. Large room. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The location was phenomenal (all three of our walking tours went straight by the entrance) and we were made to feel entirely safe as the door was only openable from the inside and staffed 24 hours a day.
Wifi worked excellently in the courtyard but only one of our laptops could use it reliably in the room. The window opened onto a stairwell which would've been awkward except we had the whole property to ourselves.
The desk could use a lamp.

I made a mistake with my booking and the lady was so kind in helping me to resolve it. All the staff were charming. The whole stay was perfect. The best thing was that you could walk anywhere from it. Also, it was close to an amazing taco/quesadilla stand (tacos del carmen) on the corner. There is also a superb restaurant (La popular) facing the taco stand to go to when the taco stand isn’t open. The room was spacious and the roof terrace gave a nice space for my morning coffee. If they added seating out there, it would be perfect. The breakfast offering was simple but I preferred to go out and explore the markets for food. I felt secure and comfortable at all times.
If there could be some seating on the roof terrace, that would improve things.

Ubicación perfecta. La atención es tan familiar que olvidas estar en un hotel. La habitación no es muy grande, pero compensa lo precioso que es todo. La cama cómoda. El patio interior una maravilla. Volveríamos a quedarnos aquí cuando vengamos nuevamente sin duda!
L’emplacement est idéal, proche du centre et de plein de bons restaurants. L’accueil et le cadre authentiques, et le personnel toujours super avenant.
Seul petit « bémol », on entend beaucoup la musique du restaurant à coté. Mais la Clim suffit à la masquer :)

Very clean rooms. The location. The employees Saira and the night custodian. Complimentary fruit and coffee in the morning.
The premises are acceptable and generally okay, but the experience was seriously affected by the owner’s rude attitude. I stayed there for 8 nights in 2 rooms (3 people). Nevertheless, she tried to charge me double the Booking’s advertised price just to get a different room -one with a window. I lost over two hours of my vacation negotiating this issue. If it hadn’t been for the employee Saira (?) who was professional and genuinely helpful, I would have had to book two rooms in another hotel at 6 pm.
