It was short and sweet and a great way to rest and recover after a very long drive. The pool is wonderful.

It was clean, comfortable and welcoming to very tired travellers.

Le parking et le personnel qui compense les déficiences matérielles.
Le style de la piscine est joli, le cadre bucolique.

Cons:

La chambre très froide qu'il a fallu chauffer avec un chauffage d'appoint, le lit qui penche sur le côté et fais passer des mauvaises nuits, le matériel (volet)il a fallu appeler des techniciens pour arranger. La porte qui ne ferme plus convenablement. Manque de prises de courant et pas de prise USB, tapis dans le hall complètement usé depuis des années, un bar non insonorisé où il était impossible de s'entendre si d'autres personnes parlent, le jacuzzi qui était hors fonction... Et je pourrais continuer..

As others have said, the place is tired and pretty tun down
Pros:

A vast rambling place that was very empty.
Whilst the bed was very comfortable the whole room needs updating.
Why have self closing heavy (and banging) doors inside the room?
How about a decent shower? And a few charging sockets?
And some way of warming the room up?
Enough said.

The staff were pretty good and dinner on our first night was great.
We had an email a few days before we arrived telling us that the restaurant would be closed on our second night.
It was surprising to find that it wasn’t actually closed but that there was a conference or meeting group all in there eating their dinner.
So these two “valued customers” along with the fairly small number of other residents had been dumped out!!

Holiday Inn - Le Touquet
Pros:

I was somewhat nervous about staying in this hotel after reading some reviews about it being dated but this has been a brilliant stay and I cannot fault this hotel at all.

Very comfortable beds, nice room overlooking gardens, very friendly staff, nice bar & restaurants, 45 minute drive from Calais, ten minute walk into town. Lovely swimming pool. Absolutely fab.
