Pros:

Overall, for a small town, this place was decent. The pool was nice, but care should be taken as small children can easily access it. They do have a place in the pool for small children. The food at the hotel was satisfying. The small playground was fun for the kids. While the resort is situated by the "lake," it is actually a pond. The staff were helpful and spoke sufficient English to allow for communication.

Friendly staff. Big clean pool. Strong wi fi signal. Pleasant view over the lake.
I had a room on the ground floor next to the kitchen/laundry/ staff rest room so there was constant noise from early morning to late at night. The room also looked out onto the road so the village ladies would sit on the wall around the lake in the evening and gossip. And on my last night a group from out of state came to party in the restaurant on the floor above so it sounded like a nightclub until 1:30 am.
The only peaceful area was around the pool and then not before the workers constructing a property next door had gone home. The website says the rooms are soundproofed but this is not true.
This could be a lovely tranquil resort if the sound issues are addressed.

Pros:

The picture and description of the property and the one that was provided was totally different. I had to pay more than double the money and upgrade to have a proper stay for couple of nights.
