Pros:

Easy to get too and private parking

Cons:

The hotel was nice and so was the room. But I did notice that my room did have roaches. It was only baby ones but it was mostly around the bed area where I had killed 4 of them and 1 in the bathroom.

Good Stay Overall
Pros:

It was only three blocks from the Alamo, and the Riverwalk beyond. It was nice to have a kitchenette, the breakfast was good, and Elijah at the front desk checked us in quickly. Other members of the desk also greeted us with a smile each time we passed as well.

Cons:

It is a little dated, we found it to be clean, but there was a weird rusty hatch in the ceiling of one of the bathrooms.

Parking. They have a lot of parking spots, and put at the entrance a sign says “parking full” please see your options. The staff are so rude, specially the young girl. I paid a high rate for a place with the parking out of service.

Pros:

Close to the river walk ~10 minutes

Cons:

Staff were neglecting. Phone in the room doesn't work. Only when we call them directly from our phones they'll answer with wait times. No proper parking. Even though the parking garage is not full, they suggested outside private parking. No proper amenities. Ice machine is behind the staff counter and we should ask them everytime.

Stayed at the Sonesta in downtown San Antonio while in town for the Journey concert. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to breakfast, so I can’t speak to that, but the overall stay was really good. Would happily stay again.

Cons:

Parking at the hotel was filled to capacity, which cost me extra time since I was left to find a garage on my own. It was an inconvenience, especially after arriving and just wanting to get settled. Luckily I found a nearby garage that was much cheaper, so it worked out fine in the end.

Amazing location, great value and quality extra clean.
Pros:

Great location close to the river walk, the room had a kitchenette, full size fridge, and dish washer. The room was very clean and well lit. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Parking lot was full and had to park outside the hotel, the car drop-off area can get a bit crowded. Overall nothing that will impact your stay.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Sonesta hotel in downtown San Antonio. I found what appeared to be blood on my comforter, which was upsetting and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the bedding.

I was heading to a concert and did not have time to change rooms. When I reported the issue, the hotel offered complimentary parking or points. Neither felt like an adequate response.

I also sent an email requesting a refund for my room and have received no response as of this review. Clean bedding is a basic expectation, and the lack of follow-up has made this experience even more disappointing.
