Cons:

Rooms were worn out, spa was closed permanently without warning, beds were worn out, room service is non existent, spoke to manager about the spa that is literally marketed in the room and in the tv, he is only allowed to say sorry (with a big smile)

Had many issues with water heating, issues with plumbing, tv broke down ,no vault, ultra cheap coffee maker, 5 day stay and my sheets were not changed.

Spoke to lobby about the many issues with our stay and how we are extremely unhappy with all of the above, no steps were taken to make our stay a bit of a better experience.

The yard is in horrible condition, you see trash all over from the room window.

Also, the bellboy gives you the buggy, he does not help with the baggage, why can't the front desk do that.

Big issue with management in the place.

Out of the 15 hotels that we stayed during our family road trip, this is easily the worst.

Im writing this all here as no one is willing to listen to all these issues in the hotel and not smirk,

Pros:

Platinum and titanium member only in the breakfast area. This isn’t advertised and isn’t mentioned at check-in. Marriott must be hard up for cash. 1-star.

Pros:

Quiet, which is key for me in NJ. They have a very nice bar there, and the rooms are fairly spacious and well equipped.

Cons:

Hot! It was too hot everywhere. I was able to set the thermostat in my room, however.

My stay at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal was relaxing, comfortable, and exceeded all my expect

I had such a lovely experience at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal. The hotel has a perfect balance of elegance and comfort — tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting that feels like a true retreat, yet still close to downtown Princeton.

The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the entire property has a calm, upscale atmosphere. The indoor pool and fitness center are excellent, and the spa makes it easy to unwind after a long day.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every person I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming — from check-in to the restaurant team. The on-site dining was great as well; the food was fresh and beautifully presented.

Whether you’re visiting for business, a getaway, or a special event, the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal is an excellent choice. I left feeling refreshed and will definitely return!

Cons:

Honestly, I didn’t have anything negative to say about my stay. Everything—from the cleanliness to the service—was excellent. If anything, I just wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities!
