Perfect!
Wonderful staff and service. Beds are very firm. Great breakfast and decent gym. Very nice spa amenities. Good location.
The stay at the Milestone Hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The most impressive thing about the hotel was that the staff. From Tim as the doorman, and Jorge and Stephen as the Concierge staff, we were well taken care of and they truly represented Milestone's 5 star status. The room was also outstanding with a lot of character. We stayed in the Matisse suite with authentic Matisse artwork. Wow! When we return to London, we will stay at the Milestone...a truly top notch hotel.
Service was exceptional and location is excellent.
My only negative is that the size of the bed in the queen rooms is too small...
Wonderful hotel, I will be back
It really does not get any better!
Stuff is absolutely amazing, helpful and amicable
Location of the hotel is superb
We love this hotel
The rooms are super cute, the restaurant and the tea room are perfectly decorated.
We are coming back for sure.
Nothing to not like about this hotel. Very classy, clean and beautiful. Great service too from the door till you check out. Really enjoyed staying there
Beautiful hotel full of history. Great views of Kensington Park and stones throw from Kensington High St. Staff are highly trained and service very good. Doorman is exceptional and friendly. Recomended and deserving of its reputation
My stay here was wonderful. The staff is attentive and gracious, seeing to a guest’s every need. I was delighted to see when I returned to my room in the evening each day that it was all prepared for a relaxing evening (light music playing, slippers laid out, a lit candle by the bath, etc).
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. If you cannot find something, the front desk has it and is eager to help.
The location is easily accessible by public transportation and, of course, is across from Kensington garden, a wonderful green space to walk around.
Overall probably the best Hotel experience in London over 30 years of visiting regularly on business. This small British hotel is top notch. Literally right across the street from Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Friendly staff, convenient shops and restaurants surround. The room was modernized with walk in closet and heated bathroom floors. Very spacious for London. Great onsite restaurant. Just great overall. It is a 5 star experience in every way!
Huge character. Great staff. Stables Bar is superb.
My wife and I didn't enjoy our stay at the Milestone. While the staff was friendly and attentive, we found the room really very, very small - there wasn't really much space to put luggage racks out in the narrow gaps between the edges of the queen bed and the walls of the room. The decor was definitively old-school and fusty. I didn't much like the bathroom either, which - while actually pretty spacious - included one of those old-style showers that wasn't even enclosed, leaving water spraying around the bathroom. Now, some of this is my fault, in that the place was recommended to me by a friend. But I think that friend had gotten upgrades (whether he paid or got them for free I don't know) so his experience was far superior to mine. I paid something like $700/night, and I could have had a much more comfortable experience in a nearby place at half that price. Maybe all their customers are "money is no object" kind of people, I don't know. It pains me to say it owing to how friendly the staff was, but I will not be back.
Great stay in a classic hotel
We absolutely love this hotel. The staff are amazing, friendly and efficient and can’t do enough to help. We’ve stayed twice now and both times they exceeded our expectations. Breakfast is the best! Try the pancakes … delicious ❤️❤️. It genuinely feels like you are going home when you go back to this hotel, you get a personal service here you don’t see often these days and we didn’t even have to give our room number as the staff memorise your name and which room you are in!! We will definitely be staying here every time we visit London 👌👌❤️❤️
Certainly don’t get the room you see in the photos. Very expensive for what you get.
Unable to obtain teabags in room despite two requests!!!!!
We loved our short stay and would have liked to have had more time to enjoy the bar etc. Our room was large and comfortable and every staff member we had contact with was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.
Absolutely spot on service as always. Our room upgrade was impeccable, we stay every year and it was also so nice to get a card that welcomed my wife and me and even our dog who also stays with us. All in advance, thank you for a wonderful stay again
We had a wonderful stay at the Milestone. The hotel is historically charming, beautifully, well-appointed with nice amenities. It’s a five star hotel that gives you the feeling of luxury. The rooms are small by American standards -we did have to wrestle with the height of the shower. But, that’s part of the charm of a historic building. The highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. Steve is a true gem and went out of his way to be helpful and courteous. Overall, we found all Londoner’s to be extremely kind and friendly. We will definitely be back.
