Convenience with a great personality
Pros:

We didn't choose this location, it chose us do to family reunion arrangements. It was a great choice because of it's central location to the reunion plans, but the best part is the friendliness of all the staff. From the point of check in everyone had a smile, eye contact and a nice greeting. It made us feel very appreciated as a guest. C

Excellent stay
Pros:

Very accommodating hotel. Drew was exceptionally helpful at check in. We have stayed here many years in a row and it’s been a great experience every time. Great location, quiet area, clean rooms and breakfast area.

The staff was friendly, very helpful and professional. The location was excellent.

Cons:

I’m paralyzed and am in wheelchair full time and traveling by myself. I must have a roll-in shower and a handicap accessible room. I’d specifically asked in advanced by calling in twice prior to arrival. After checking in to my room, I was given a handicap room WITHOUT a roll-in shower. I went without a shower for two days. I could have complained and asked for a new room but I get so tired of having to do this. Details matter and it’s so hard when I explained directly to this hotel on multiple occasions what and why I needed.

Favorite place to stay at when traveling in the Des Moines, IA area - keep it going :)
Pros:

Enjoyed it very much had good quality and variety of what I eat.

For what ever reason the beds they have or my favorite when traveling. Great sleep.

Even though there is some wear on the facility, can't always be shiny and new, the rooms are clean, the common areas are tidy and everything works. Shows pride in the work they do and I much appreciate the housekeeping, front desk and maintenance staff for what they do every day to make my visit enjoyable, peaceful and stress free. I am Thankful , Appreciative, and Grateful for Hampton Inn's Staff. Hampton Inn corporate the people you employee are your greatest asset please appreciate them.


Pam at the front desk is truly a friendly and upbeat person to work with.

Cons:

The work out room tread mill key needs some TLC. The magnet in the key was not glued in and I did find the magnet and the treadmill itself worked well.

Pros:

It has been a while since we stayed at a Hampton and this hotel didn't disappoint. It is in a convenient location so if you are in town on business this is a very good location. Some of the reviews did point out some of the rooms were dark in regards to lighting and I do agree but it wasn't too bad. The breakfast was very good. Cheese omlettes, oatmeal, waffle maker and something I never saw this in a hotel before but there were to go bags with a waffle and or bagel. For the business person on the go that would be fantastic. A great idea.
