Food was excellent. Room very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
We got soaked in the rain and could not dry anything. Bathroom needs a heated towel rail.
The balcony furniture cushions were on the chairs so again it rained and then the sun came out but we could not sit out. I feel they should be stored inside.
It would have been nicer to have been nearer the historic town and more central but it was perfect for us and a good price.
The staff were brilliant very polite and very helpful. The room/hotel was very clean. The bar was very nice and the food in the restaurant was 10/10. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. 20min walk to the old town or 5 minute taxi. Taxis are always waiting outside so very convenient. Would recommend this place to anyone.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel en de prachtige kamer met terras maakten het verblijf bijzonder aangenaam. We werden hartelijk ontvangen met een welkomstdrankje en ter gelegenheid van de verjaardag van mijn partner stond er zelfs een fles cava met een gebakje klaar op de kamer, een erg attent gebaar.
Daarnaast was het fijn dat het hotel beschikt over een bloemenwinkel en een eigen bakkerij. Dat gaf het geheel een extra charme en maakte het verblijf echt leuk.
De wachttijd bij het ontbijt was teleurstellend. Voor een koffie moest je al snel 15 minuten wachten, omdat er slechts één barista aanwezig was. Hetzelfde gold voor het bestellen van een eitje of omelet. Gezien de drukte en de meerprijs van het ontbijt, verwacht je voldoende personeel. Bij een volgend verblijf zal ik deze ontbijtoptie dan ook niet meer nemen, temeer omdat er in de buurt genoeg leuke en goedkopere alternatieven zijn. Positief is wel dat de koffie en het ontbijt zelf erg lekker en uitgebreid waren.
Daarnaast liet de schoonmaak van de kamer te wensen over. Afval, waaronder etensresten, bleef meerdere dagen liggen. Ook werd de koffie niet aangevuld en bleef poetsmateriaal in de kamer achter.
Tot slot was de wifi-verbinding ondermaats. De snelheid is onvoldoende, zeker wanneer je wil streamen.

I loved everything about the hotel. It was clean, spacious and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. There were so many amenities and thoughtful touches, they even provided a hair straightener which I’ve never seen before in a European hotel.
the man in the lobby with the short blond hair in so sorry i don’t catch his name, he told us he lived in birmingham for a year was so lovely he made our stay amazing and was the highlight of the only you hotel. we said hi to each other every time we passed the lobby.
It’s honestly rare for hotels in Europe to offer so many complimentary extras. They had everything you could possibly need, from complimentary sweets in the lobby to a full range of essentials like a dental kit, razor kit and vanity kit. You’re completely covered even if you forget something at home, which made the whole stay feel effortless and well thought out.
it was a bit out of the way about 25 min walk from centre but hotel was so good and staff so friendly we didn’t mind
