Claris Hotel & Spa GL, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

Wow! Exceeded expectations! Never stayed at a luxury boutique hotel and it was delightful.
The concierge booked an excursion for us at last minute. When we realized we would have to miss breakfast the sent up 2 “picnics” at 7am consisting of water,juice,prosciutto sandwich along with ham and cheese sandwich , croissant, chocolate croissant and mixed fruit! This was enough to feed us breakfast and lunch!! What a nice surprise. When we had breakfast the next morning it was sit down with fresh squeezed juice , latte or cappuccino along with fresh fruits, cheeses, and desserts . So delicious.
All of these extras and I haven’t even mentioned how attentive and friendly every staff member was. Hailing cabs, making change , water,champagne and sweets . We felt so special .
What a great location and access to the museum was a special treat. Spent 2 hours looking at mummies and artifacts from the Egyptians and king tuts tomb.
10 min walk to Sagrada and 5 to passage gracia. Felt so safe walking around at night .

The hotel has a spa with no water treatments. Massages are twice as expensive as in the best salons in Barcelona. The rooftop pool is uncomfortable to swim in. The sauna is 50°C. And on the last day, they wouldn't let us stay an extra hour, even for a fee, until 1:00 PM. Even though new customers only arrive at 3:00 PM... the breakfasts aren't bad.

This was a return trip to Barcelona and we wanted to stay in the Claris because it’s central to most places of interest, reasonably priced and very comfortable.
It was like returning to family friends greeted by friendly reception staff and the ever pleasant and efficient Oscar who was always ready to help us. The restaurant on level 7 has outstanding meals and breakfast on lower level always tempting to overeat.

Toutes mes attentes ont été comblées : chambre très calme, spacieuse et propreté irréprochable. Le personnel, très aimable, est toujours à notre écoute et disponible en cas de besoin particulier. Mention spéciale aussi au room service qui a systématiquement fait un travail parfait. C'est un véritable havre de paix. Nous reviendrons et recommandons lorsque l'occasion se présentera.

The room was jaw dropping gorgeous, the staff was incredibly nice, caring and kind. They helped us with anything that we needed. 10/10 I recommend this hotel and if I ever re-visit Barcelona Im definitely staying here.

We had great stay, stuff was very friendly especially Edu, Carina and Osama. Room is very quiet and you can sleep long hours in the morning.

The hotel is really nice, quirky with the theme of a museum, and very tasteful. Staff were fantastic - room service was absolutely amazing. Pool area is really nice, on the roof. I would stay here again without question if they sort out the booking process!

The Hotel Claris was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Barcelona. The staff is exceptional, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning a delicious start to the day. The location is perfect and centrally located to many sites around the city. We look forward to a return trip!

This was a wonderful hotel, with all that you need: a great location, close to all of the main sites, yet till discreetly tucked away; all of the class and amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this calibre; and great service too - attentiveness and discreet luxury. The rooms are very classy, and have a unique designer-edge, with quirky features. Makes returning to the hotel after a long day of touring a real pleasure. There is also a rooftop pool and bar, which during the Summer months, was a welcome place to unwind and take in the views around Barcelona. Overall, I would be back!
