Very convenient access to historical area.
Pros:

Nice and clean. Appreciated the tour guide information. Car parking was very expensive, and a bit of a surprise as reading the online information it did not mention a parking fee. Restaurant and online menus for the restaurant need to be updated. As there were too many things that were not available. Staff were very cordial.

the stay was nice as long as I was out of the hotel.
Pros:

Did not have breakfast No complimentry meals \ the waterfront view of the river was beautiful.

Cons:

there was a baby crying and children screaming next door all night and day the walls are very thin. Did not get any rest at all. No free parking in hotel

4 star stay
Pros:

Clean lobby and rooms, very nice staff!
Great location in the river. We called ahead to ask for a river view room annd told yrs. However we were told they were all booked when we checked in. They were able to move us next day by request.
Bar, restaurant need more help.
Pool was outdated, dirty and gate open to parking lot. Will try a different Savanna Marriott next stay.

Quick trip. Spent most of our time out of hotel because the pool area was lackluster
Pros:

Nice hotel, the pool was an afterthought and a huge miss. We never used it because it was lucky atmosphere and could not eat and drink out there.

Excellent Dining, Dated Rooms, and Security Concerns
Pros:

As a frequent Marriott guest and business traveler, I chose this hotel for my family’s vacation because of its convenient location within walking distance of the River Street shops, restaurants, and waterfront. This trip was especially meaningful because we were celebrating my 50th birthday.

There were definitely some positives. The location is excellent, the outdoor seating and gathering areas are beautiful, the pool was enjoyable, and both hotel restaurants were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, and our waitress provided wonderful service. Dinner was equally impressive, and our waiter was fantastic.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The guest room felt dirty, dated and in need of renovation. The dresser drawers were extremely difficult to open and close, and the room lacked amenities I typically expect at this price point. Windows were filthy and light fixtures dusty. There was no complimentary morning coffee/tea or continental breakfast option.

The biggest concern was security. Our rental car was broken into in the parking lot on our first night. When we reported it, we were told that camera footage could not be reviewed without a police report. While I understand procedures may be in place, the experience left us feeling unsupported.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Trash cans in the bedroom area were not emptied, only the bathroom trash was removed. We were not provided additional toilet paper, and the floors were clearly not vacuumed, as debris remained in the same spots for several days.

Overall, while the location, restaurants, pool, and outdoor spaces were excellent, the condition of the rooms, housekeeping standards, and security concerns would prevent me from staying here again. I would not recommend this property until significant updates and service improvements are made.

Hotel great. Pool not so much.
Pros:

The location was great. The hotel was beautiful. I had a wonderful balcony, but unfortunately it was overlooking the air conditioning on the rooftop. Impeccable staff service everywhere in the hotel. The food was good now onto the pool. What a sad little site that was. The gate wasn’t locked and anyone has got access to it. The water was murky, and the inside of the pool was not clean. The pool looked like an afterthought. The pictures on the hotel website of the pool look nothing like the pool.
