Beautiful river front rooms, great location, clean, and friendly staff.
Pros:

Fabulous location, staff was pleasant, clean and overall great quality.

Cons:

With the price of the room, I thought parking would be included. I think $45 a night is outrageous. Additionally, breakfast was not included, which I thought would have also been.

It was great until I woke up to no running water.
Pros:

Location and view

Cons:

The water was off in the morning. Never experienced that a hotel before. When water was back on it was dirty. Staff wasn't willing to compensate for inconvenience.

To sum up our stay it was relaxing, refreshing and amazing!
Pros:

I loved our room. We had a balcony with Riverfront View! I loved seeing the ships coming into the port, looking at the people walking by and most of all just looking out at the Savannah River. It was very peaceful!

Cons:

There was nothing that we did not like. Well, maybe the breakfast at the hotel could be a little better.

Pros:

It was our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff were wonderful to us. Our first night we ate dinner at the Hotel, I had shrimp and grits, my favorite. The chef, sorry I forgot his name, it was a Bible name though, made the best shrimp and grits I ever had.
The room was clean, plenty of towels. The river view from the balcony was superb. The concierge was very helpful. Everything was perfect. The coffee was good too.

Cons:

Being in our 80's not able to do all that was available to us.

OK, but not great value for money, especially when you include the ridiculous parking fee.
Pros:

Location was fine but really not too much to see around save for the river walk which is OK. Limited number of restaurants within walking distance, which meant most were totally booked for diner (on a Saturday evening).

Cons:

Outrageous parking fee of $45 per day. You have to be kidding.

Restaurant staff sure needs some training
Pros:

Good location and clean

Cons:

Blue restaurant. We sat down at a table and we told the person seating us that it was still dirty so she grabs a wet rag and wipes the crumbs to the floor as the waiter comes to our table. We then tell him the table is dirty and sticky so he uses the tag to wipe the table and the mats our silverware was on and then places the mats back sown along with the coffee cups which were dirty on the bottom. We then took clean cups and place mats from the table next to us which we couldn’t sit at. Not very Marriott style

Pros:

Friendly staff, clean quiet.

Cons:

The value, didn't get the room I reserved. View was a roof with air conditioners. No breakfast included.
Lighting and outlets were inconvenient.

Overall, nice hotel but disappointing if you have kids that want to spend relaxing afternoons in the pool.
Pros:

Close to shopping, restaurants, river front views

Cons:

The pool entrance was either outside of the hotel or walking across the bar area. The pool felt too small for the size of the hotel.

Location was great.
Cons:

The carpets are getting old. We didn’t get a room cleaning on day 3 which was disappointing after a day of adventure.

It’s not worth the money!!!
Pros:

The lobby is beautiful. The restaurant had great food and service.

Cons:

The room was small. The carpet looked dirty, the bathroom ceiling had paint peeling off. The balcony furniture was old and worn.
