Location is good and near public transport
A bit old and gym is small

This property was so stylish, clean and everything about it was fabulous. Even the door that takes you straight to the train station and shopping centre. Security was one of the best I have seen, needing your card for everything even using the lifts and toilets which we liked.
A beautiful hotel, staff were very accommodating and could not be more helpful
Everything. The hotel and the staff made us feel like royalty. We were only there one night to go to the theatre. It was marathon weekend and the city was buzzing and brilliant.
That I couldn’t stay longer.
Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was excellent. The decor was in excellent order. Staff could not be more helpful, polite or cheerful. The hotel was located very close to Victoria Station, restaurants, major tourist sights etc. We shall definitely be staying there again on our next trip to London.
The only very small issue was that on the second morning we were not offered any hot drinks at breakfast and there appeared to be confusion over which member of staff was responsible for our table but this will not stop us from staying there again

Location was great. Right off the train station. When our room was cleaned (which wasn’t often) the room was nice.
Staff doesn’t service the rooms every day. We had walked around London all day two days in a row without our room being cleaned. We eventually went down to ask for more towels and toiletries. It was expected that even though we were gone over 8 hours we had to leave the room in the evening just to get it finally cleaned. The restaurant staff left us without offering drinks for the morning buffet and made us feel very unwelcome. Avoid the morning buffet. It’s overpriced and not worth the lack of attention from their staff.
The Clermont hotel is beautiful, opulent and full of character, with a rich history, not to mention ideally located. But the customer service is even more outstanding!
Traveling with an aged parent who requires assistance is already challenging enough. Add to that a red eye flight and luggage delays leaves one entirely drained only to realize that one now has to wait for hours until the standard afternoon check-in at the hotel.
SURITI, who checked us in, not only understood, she empathized. She found a table for us in their fully booked restaurant to rest and recuperate while she made a room available for an earlier than normal early check-in. I am not sure if we were upgraded but the room even had a sofa to relax on.
The Restaurant Manager found us out-of-the-way tables where we could park the wheelchair. ISABEL, in charge of the breakfast station, treated us like family and seemed genuinely sad to hear we were checking out.
In short, I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough and would give them 6 stars if I could. If it’s in your price range, just book it.
P.S. a teeny weeny demerit for not having wheelchair access from the street.
I realize it is an old hotel and subject to building codes but, there is no wheelchair access.
