Our family had a great stay here. Comfortable beds, nice showers and everything was clean.
Something that really stands out about this property is the front desk employees. We interacted with 3 of them and they were friendly, professional and helpful. And J makes the best juice in the world! It was in the lobby and was the perfect pick-me-up after a long drive.
The one improvement they need is some signs for the lobby, both in the parking garage and around the hotel.
We hope to stay again!
This hotel is an absolute disaster — and the staff somehow manages to be even worse. The entire property is under construction, and in my case, they were drilling or grinding until nearly 11pm and started right back up before 6am. Good luck getting any sleep.
My room? The refrigerator was broken, smelled awful, and despite requesting housekeeping every single day, the room was never cleaned once. Not a towel, not a trash pickup — nothing.
To make matters worse, the front desk is a mess. One of the employees even told me she was the manager, which turned out to be a complete lie. On night three, when I asked (again) why my room hadn’t been cleaned at all, there was zero apology and absolutely no effort to fix it. Instead, she told me I “wasn’t scheduled for cleaning” and somehow made me feel like the problem for being upset.
I genuinely hate this place. Save yourself the headache, the noise, and the attitude.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
Bryan the night auditor was an absolute gem! He made my check in so easy, and helped us immensely, with a great smile! We will definitely be returning, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks so much!
great
Good location
I was absolutely shocked at the condition of this hotel. I was not aware it would be under construction when I booked the stay. I have pictures of construction debris in the hallway leading to my room, the parking garage (where I parked my car) had cars covered in plastic and others covered in construction dust. I had to duck under plastic tarps to get to the elevator and the door to gain access to it was being painted and knowing of wet paint, damaged my shirt.
The bathroom tub was dirty, the cauling was separating from the wall and the view from the window was a wall 10 feet away.
The pool was closed. There was no lobby but a door that let to a desk which felt like a storage room. I was given a bottle of water, a bag of popcorn and apack a chips a hoy cookies for my inconvenience. Pathetic.
I expect so much more from a hotel which has Buckhead in its name and the surrounding buildings.
I will not stay here again or any other "Residence Inn By Marriott"
Do better!
Nice accommodations, quiet, clean and great staff.
We have stayed here before & it has been undergoing a reconstruction project for the past 2 years. Because of this there is no breakfast available-but we knew that when making the reservation. The room was fine, but at 1:30am the nextdoor room had a loud altercation with, shouting, banging on walls & slamming of doors. Although we called the desk 3 times nothing was done. So we have traveled 6 hrs back home on very little sleep. Security needs to be present or there should be some type of policy for the desk to enforce by contacting the police when this happens.
Wow !!! What a scam
The pool hasn’t worked since 2020 tho they don’t say that anywhere and all the signs around the hotel say it’s temporarily closed for maintenance ! What a lie
Continental breakfast is included in the price of the room but there isn’t anything on site to eat ever !
They need to be honest about their hotel when people are booking and they are not .
There is literally a poster in the fridge in the rooms that say breakfast is between 6:30-9:30 ……. But that’s a lie .
Sheetrock over holes in walls that were never finished or painted , giant hole for roaches to come through under kitchen sink .
In severe disrepair
One of the staff members at the front desk is Very rude and unaccommodating and to be honest a bit racist .
Only saving grace really is that the room was clean ish tho very dated and one of the ladies that work at the front desk was very sweet and pleasant to deal with !
Lovely
I TRULY ENJOYED MY STAY! THE STAFF WAS AWESOME ESPECIALLY FRANK, HE MADE MY MORNING EVERYDAY TO SEE HIM AS I HAD MY MORNING COFFEE! THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!
Miss Mimi at the front desk was everything! She was super awesome and accommodating. Her lil frozen juices were a staple for us. My man was obsessed,
The only negative is that the email about renovations wasn’t as in depth as it should’ve been. The email didn’t state that complimentary breakfast was no longer being offered during this time, that the pool would be closed entirely and I’m not sure if the Netflix offering was a part of the fall through of renovations but it was on the list of amenities and it was down the entire stay. So we were stuck with one or two channels on repeat of the same movies/shows.
That being said, we were able to get our fill of ATL and its attractions. It was just disappointing that I tried to find a hotel specifically that offered breakfast so we could start the days right and one with a pool so I could enjoy it when we got back from our ventures. It was my birthday weekend and I was just a tad disappointed when it came to the hotel, just because it ended up being only a place to sleep and not to relax/enjoy. I am understanding when things are out of anyone’s control but I think the email sent out was a bit deceptive of what and how many amenities/services were actually unavailable.
Mimi saved the day, truly. And I can’t be more grateful to be met with accommodations such as no deposit and the free parking.
I will certainly return after the renovations are completed.
I booked this hotel by accident trying to be close to the hospital for my sister's surgery. When I realized the proximity was an hour away I called and called even drove there to ask for a cancelation. I was even willing to rebook that location the following day since the rehab was near there. I explained that during rehab I would need to be near Buckhead. The desk clerk assured me that there was no way the GM would assist me in this matter. Even though I tried to make these changes within the 1st hour after Realizing I made this mistake. I also emailed the GM and he never replied or acted my concerns. Infact they charged me and I ended up paying to be near my sister at another facility that was more than accommodating. I will never do this location again and I have actually stayed her before. The last time I had mold but I was willing to give them another try. Never again. Rude and non caring. They only carry about money even though they're not offering any amenities or breakfast right now.
They were going through renovations.
This isba great hotel with lots of potential. Butnthe rsnvations are taking forecer going on 3 years now and i feel this is a liss in vamue. As a traveler of frequent. I lok towards a marriott property to be up and running full service akd that means with the breakfasf that it currently is false advertising it serves. This end up ticking bith expiedia and marriott faithful client off. This property coukd do so much better
The first thing I noticed was they are under construction. The incidental fee is $150 which is extremely high. Also they do not accept cash nor split tender. The 1 wlevator needs to be inspected because it was nerve wrecking to ride it and it had not been inspected since 2022 or 2023. The hallway had mosquitoes and was poorly lit. The room smelled wonderful and I was not expecting the room to be as nice and clean as it was. But my room was a pleasant surprise. The only downside to my room was that the appliance paint they sprayed on the bath tub was peeling and the bathroom sink stopped up when you turn on the faucet. I loved that the TV had Netflix. I was hoping for breakfast but there wasn't really much of a breakfast and I imagine thats due to everything being under construction.
Property is under construction due to renovations and therefore is not serving advertised breakfast 😕
Great stay
The renovations really impacted our stay.
The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is good because it's a little dated. However, the beds are really comfortable and the rooms have plenty of space. We upgraded from the studio to the two bedroom, and it was almost like an apartment. The staff here is excellent!
