Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay

It was a beautiful property and the staff were lovely. The fitness room was fantastic.

Very Very nice hotel. Spectacular views, great staff, exceptional food. I just can't say enough about how wonderful our 5-day stay was at the Grand Hyatt.

Came for business , valet parking service is wonderful, restaurant was nice , food was great . We rented 9 rooms and a room for a conference for 2 days . Spent several dollars at bar and restaurant daily including catering for the meeting . First day came back to room at 4 and no service had been done . They showed up at 4:30 to "clean". 2 nd day stay conference goes until 12:00 , asked about late check out since normal check is 11:00 and Greg was not very accommodating or appreciative of our business . I stated just need late check out to 12:30 to get all of our items out of rooms and he wasn't budging stating he needs to clean the rooms for guest tonight . Funny how they want to clean so soon today hit didn't want to clean until almost dinner yesterday .

Overpriced with horrible service, I thought Hyatt was an upscale chain. Everything about the 5 night stay was underwhelming and unprofessional. Never going back and am re-evaluating everything I thought about Hyatt.

We live in Orlando and we stayed here for a weekend getaway, not wanting to have to travel too far to take a breather. The property is beautiful and the location is perfect if you want to spend time on the Bay, downtown Tampa or take an excursion to Clearwater. The property has amenities to enjoy; bike rentals and paddleboard rentals. There is a convenient paved walking/bike trail which offers a beautiful walk along the bay. We saw a pod of dolphins which was unexpected and added to the enjoyment of our walk. There are two restaurant/bars on property, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a cocktail on deck of the Oystercatchers restaurant on our arrival day, which was an awesome treat after a long day of work and driving. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hyatt!

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Hyatt! The location is great and convenient to Tampa's main attractions. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and the staff was very attentive to my gluten free requests. Shout outs to Gulia at the front desk and Emily, who we had a lovely conversation with during one of our breakfasts. The hotel is very lucky to have them both! Highly recommend this hotel!

I needed to give a shout out to Dominick with the mustache ay this hotel. I didn't get a chance to fill out a review before I departed if anybody from the hotel is reading this.!

Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et frais. Le personnel est attentionné et à l'écoute.
Mon fils se lève tôt alors nous avons pris notre temps (2h) pour déjeuner : je ne me suis pas sentie pressée par l'équipe, tout le monde a été très gentil et dispo avec nous.
Les enfants paient le prix de leur âge pour le petit déjeuner : pour mes enfants (3, 5 et 9 ans ), ils ont payé 3€, 5€ et 9€. Quelle belle initiative quand on sait que les enfants ne mangent pas grand chose à cet âge là ! Bravo à vous pour cette idée.

Great hotel. We stayed in the casita and we absolutely loved it. We had our Cavapoo puppy with us and it was so easy and convenient staying in the casita with the puppy. Staff was great. Front desk exceptional. Close to everything: restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. Enjoyed taking long walks on the boardwalk/bike path by the hotel.

Granddaughter booked her wedding reception at Grand Hyatt. The day before the wedding the hotel phoned and asked her if she would like to use the new chairs recently purchased. If so, an additional $10 per guest. This is totally unacceptable on the part of our Hyatt. If new chairs were purchased either use for the reception or keep the old ones until after the scheduled event! Ridiculous!!

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is an upscale, well-run Hyatt property. The communications and arrangement handling between the Hyatt Globalist line and front desk is particularly good (i.e., seamless). This property is one of my "go-to spots." The views of Tampa Bay are wonderful and the condition of the property is excellent.

Our experience at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was outstanding from start to finish. I travel frequently and stay in a different hotel almost every month for work or pleasure, and this was hands down one of the best overall experiences I have had.

The location and property are absolutely beautiful, with stunning waterfront views and immaculate grounds that immediately create a relaxing atmosphere. The late night s’mores were such a unique and thoughtful touch. It is rare to see that level of creativity in hospitality, and it made the evenings feel warm and memorable.

What truly set this stay apart was the staff. Steve, the assistant manager, was visible, engaged, and genuinely invested in the guest experience. In all of my travels, this was the first time I have ever met an assistant manager who took the time to personally connect with guests. He was attentive to our needs, offered excellent local recommendations, and made a sincere effort to get to know us. He is outstanding and played a big role in making this trip amazing.

The bar staff, front desk team, and maintenance team were equally impressive. Every single person we interacted with was professional, welcoming, responsive, and clearly committed to excellence.

The food was also exceptional, especially at 1823 Kitchen & Bar. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

This is truly a top notch hotel with top notch staff. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tampa area.

The casitas are fantastic...especially if traveling with a pet. There is a great restaurant (Oystercatchers) within walking distance. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a great Hyatt property

Absolutely PERFECT stay.
I got delayed all day so ended in flying in from Boston very late.
Janae was so accommodating and upgraded us to a beautiful suite, my uncle was in town so he was with me and she made him feel like a king as well.
As a Globalist, it's nice to see properties make you feel special and valued!!
Don't hesitate to book this hotel as ALL of the staff, from the valet, to the front desk, to the kitchen staff are all exceptional!!

A faultless stay at this hotel which ticks all the boxes. 10 minute drive from the airport in an easy to summon shuttle bus, I stayed in a 'Casita', a cute stand alone villa near the Oystercatcher restaurant where I had delicious fresh oysters and clam chowder for lunch on the terrace in the warming January sunshine. After a night on probably the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on I took a 5 minute stroll along a nicely landscaped walkway to the main hotel building where I enjoyed probably the best avocado and poached eggs on toast I have ever had!

Nice views of the bay all around!

Only downsides were that I would have liked to have dinner in Oystercatcher but it was closed for a private event. I had a salad in the main building restaurant which was very good but the atmosphere was a bit lacking. Also, I would have liked a desk in the bedroom.

Overall a very good stay!

The hotel was decent definitely not a resort I would not vacation here as it really just has views of the interstate and the airport but it’s right on the bay so the marketing can be spinner to look like a resort. Anyhow housekeeping was strange. The housekeeper was very loud hollering in the hallways in the afternoon around 3pm and she was standing outside my door when I walked out not working just standing there which I thought was strange especially since i traveled alone I was on edge. Then around 11pm at night I was woken from my sleep as I hear a women’s voice saying “housekeeping” and knocking on the door next to me. I thought it was an odd time to be cleaning a room. She proceeded into the room next door and was in there for quite some time and didn’t leave the room for a while. Was she in there cleaning or is something else going on? Felt very strange and unsettling. They also have signs posted in the hallways saying quiet hours are from 9pm-7am and clearly she missed the memo…
