This hotel is nice. It's a good location we went from Greenwich to Darian and downtown Stamford (night life). It's a little dated for the price though. Our family stayed nearby at a much better price. Staff was great! Bar is fun at night.
We stay here often but since the renovation I guess it wants to be a club? Banging music all night in the courtyard and all the rooms surround it. Dan at front desk says Delmar is better.
Recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, and it was a truly disappointing experience. While the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful, that was really where the positives ended. The room was miserably hot - even with the AC on high, the only place that got even slightly cool was by the couch/window, which made for 2 nights of horrible sleep. The water in the bathroom reeked of sulfur, there was a significant amount of mildew present, and both the toilet and sink ran/dripped nonstop. $25 for self parking is also a joke.
The worst part of this stay, however, had to do with the bar/restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. The gentleman who waited on me (Saul) was so sweet and kind, but Billy (the bartender) was a complete jerk. I had asked Saul if it would be possible to put the Knicks game on one of the 2 televisions, and despite only one of the tvs being used by patrons at the bar, Billy refused to turn the Knicks game on, and openly berated Saul. Billy informed Saul that if I wanted to watch the game, I could move from my table, to the backside of the bar, where there were additional tvs, because he wanted to watch a sports draft. What??!? To make matters even worse, my husband and I got horrendously sick from the turkey sandwich.
I’d never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Bad wifi, a $25 per day charge for parking and otherwise average experience means this place sucks. Stay somewhere else
Our room had trash from previous people who had stayed. Reception staff were not friendly. Cleaning staff is nice and were able fixed my trash issue. Townsend Bar drinks and snacks are great, bartender was very friendly and attentive.

I checked into the hotel; however, approximately one hour later, my wife and I were forced to leave due to the condition of the room. The bed had a very strong and unpleasant odor, and it appeared that the bedding had not been properly changed or cleaned prior to our arrival. As a result, we did not feel comfortable or safe remaining at the property.
Following our departure, I submitted a refund request regarding this matter. However, despite more than 48 hours having passed, I have neither received a response nor been issued a refund. Although we did not stay at the hotel and left shortly after check-in, the hotel still charged and retained the full amount of $350.
I find this situation extremely disappointing and unacceptable, and I respectfully request that the matter be reviewed and my refund processed as soon as possible.

Very clean and airy hotel with easy access to 95. The central atrium is a nice spot to have a drink or a bite. Soile, at checkin, was pleasant and helpful and upgraded our room. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the Greenwich area.

My one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich was disappointing. I hoped to get a good night sleep before a major business meeting the next day, only to find out the hotel's restaurant, which is centrally located in the complex, plays loud club music past midnight (on a Monday no less). Even more surprising was that the music started back up again around 7 o'clock the next morning. Don't expect any sympathy from the concierge--the days of customers being treated with respect are gone it seems.

I was drawn-into Glenna's Market, nestled in the Hyatt’s atrium by a smile that lit up the entire atrium. As I ordered a nitro-brew and breakfast sandwich, I learned that the team member behind that infectious smile was Cecilia. Though the smile would’ve been enough, Cecilia provided excellent customer service, ensuring that my beverage & sandwich was made perfectly to my preference. Her communication and social skills matched her customer service skills - 100% professional experience. I would recommend leveraging Cecilia as a role model & mentor for the team. Though the cold brew and sandwich were good, it was Cecilia’s smile, professionalism, and kindness that will have me talking about Glenna’s & returning!
Stayed 1 night for a wedding. Excellent staff communication, room was clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
