The staff is not very heartly. Not more than doing their job. The waitress at breakfast did not respond to 2 questions I asked her. One of them was a request to warm up my coffee. She did not answer neither did she ake my cup. After 10 minutes she came up with a new cup of coffee. Strange.
great
great
The staff, the breakfast and the beauty of the hotel.
To go from the elevatória to the end of the building was like walking an entire football field. Hyatt should eliminate some rooms on the one end and install elevators so that people staying on both ends of the building can reach their rooms without a lot of trouble.
Amazing hospitality from the moment we arrived—starting with parking all the way through check-in. A special shoutout to Jair at the front desk for making us feel so welcome and going above and beyond to accommodate us. Our room was so clean and fresh. Drinks at the bar so delicious
We will definitely be back!
Lovely hotel. Stopped here one night on our way to NYC. Beautiful property with lots of amenities: indoor poor, jacuzzi, billiard table, cinema. The central pavilion at entrance is pretty breathtaking. Breakfast was really delicious. Self parking is inexpensive. This was a nice way to break up a long road trip and relax before going to another bustling city.
Location, good size rooms. Very clean rooms , nice staff.
The long walk from parking lot to front desk. The $20 parking fee. The breakfast was good but waitress was very unfriendly, coffee cold and overall service not great.
Pro - beds were comfy. Con - so many. NOISE: There is no sound insulation between the hall and the room; light comes in under the door and with it, all the hallway noise. There is no sound insulation if you have an adjoining room with the locking doors in between. If you're lucky, you have quiet neighbors, but seeing as this hotel seems to have a lovely event space, the chances of you getting an all night party in any given hotel room are high. Weddings, bachelorettes, family parties, galas, sports teams - all seemed to be traversing the halls at all hours of the night. SERVICE: The front desk does not pick up the phone between the hours of 2-4am if you do decide to finally make a noise complaint. PARKING: The parking at the hotel is also far too expensive for what it is. If you arrive at the hotel for self-parking after a gala or large corporate event has begun, be prepared to park in the far overflow parking lot, which will be a solid 15 minute walk back to your room. Frankly, don't tell the front desk that you have a car in self-park, as there is no reporting system to verify that you have parked; and the distance to the hotel from the overflow lots do not deserve the honesty of the honor system that is the self-park fee. CHECK IN / ROOMS In addition, they did not have the room with 2 beds that I'd reserved, but after refusing to take the one-bed-with-sofabed unless I could get a discount, they were able to "find" a room with 2 beds. My World of Hyatt membership was not enough to merit allocating us the room I had reserved ahead of arrival; the room was only available after asking repeatedly to look for is. OVERALL: I have told colleagues not to stay here if they want a restful night, despite the good location and beautiful lobby.
Jair was a difference maker. In the past, I’ve had poor experiences at this facility as it relates to getting a no-step handicapped accessible room for my mother. She is in a wheelchair and cannot walk. Sure, you can book an accessible room online but they have 2 types and in the past, they’ve given my mother a tub, which does not work. We’ve had problems 2 times before. This time, I went in person, a week in advance, to make sure it was the right room type. Jair made sure the notes were accurate and even took some additional steps within the system to make sure my mom would get the right room type. Jair made the difference. If it would not have worked out this time the. I was going to have to find another hotel. Jair saved my business at this facility. I’m Globalist status at Hyatt.
The renovated Hyatt Regency Greenwich is stunning on the inside. Not to mention, the amenities, coffee shop, lobby, and theatre are all added bonuses. My husband and I went to celebrate our two year anniversary of living in the city, and Soile was so sweet to offer us an upgraded room on the top floor. She was amazing to communicate with, quick to respond, and just super kind. We will definitely be back!
We loved our stay! Solie was very inviting and let us know that we were the Guest of the Day! Loved that special touch that they provide to hotel guests, and it made us feel very welcome! Room was clean and very spacious, with the necessary amenities needed. Pool was also a great time, and our room service orders were warm and delicious! Will be coming again soon.
I've stayed here countless times for work, and I always have an amazing experience at this hotel. Updated and clean, beautiful lobby & bar space, and the staff is top notch.
Wonderful hotel, the housekeeping staff is amazing and the check in experience was excellent. Well maintained and clean.
The hotel is nice - good facilities and comfortable beds. A couple of issues - first, like some other reviews have noted the walls are paper thin . Thankfully, once everyone went to sleep it stayed very quiet so I slept well. Another issue is that I ordered takeout from the restaurant / bar downstairs with some issues that weren't resolved even after I went back twice (forgotten salad, then salad dressing, then cutlery). Further, this hotel appears to be a hub for all things Greenwich related. I was only there for 2 nights and one night there was a charity event, another day a memorial service, and on Sunday they hold a large church service complete with Sunday schools for various ages. All wonderful - EXCEPT parking and navigating around everyone was tricky at times. But, overall a good stay and I would happily return.
This spot used to be Conde Nast so the setup is pretty cool looking. The restaurant was so cool. Everyone was so nice to my daughter. Soile at the front desk was so pleasant and charming. So were Jair, Jheneel and one waitress I couldn't get the name of. What a grand place.
I took my group there, all the rooms were under my name, the check-in process was a mess as some rooms were charged to my card and other to the rest of my group, even though I had already sent them the name of each person with their confirmation number and telling them I would be paying on behalf of the group.
Really liked a guy on the staff named Jair - he was super helpful and accommodating. However, IMHO, the A/C heating system needs an update. We spent 3 nights. The fan stopped in the middle of the night each night making the room a sweatbox. We couldn’t even open the window.
I had an incredible stay at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich and it truly stands out as one of the best hotels in Connecticut. The ambiance, architecture, and overall style of the hotel are absolutely unmatched. From the moment you walk into the stunning atrium, you feel like you are somewhere special.
The staff was amazing throughout the entire stay, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Jair at the front desk, who is a true class act and so wonderful to deal with. He made the experience even better and set the tone for a great stay from the moment we arrived.
If you are looking for a hotel with beautiful architecture, great service, and a unique atmosphere, the Hyatt Regency Greenwich is the place to stay. Five stars all the way.
The inside is beautiful.
Such a vibe. Love the view of the atrium from the room. I have been here twice. Once as a solo retreat and once with a friend. Great place to relax and get away without feeling like you HAVE to leave the room.
I spent four nights at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich from 03/20/2026 to 03/24/2026. This hotel which has been recently renovated is located in a quiet and beautiful area in Old Greenwich near Stamford, in the State of Connecticut. The hotel building, rooms, and furnishings are first class and reflect the Hyatt taste. I had a great time using the pool, the hot tub, and the well-equipped exercise room. I really enjoyed the tasty food during dinner. I recommend the Hyatt Regency Greenwich to anyone visiting the Greenwich-Stamford area.
