A convenient comfortable hotel.
Pros:

Convenient for railway station. Nice comfortable beds. A problem with the lavatory in the bathroom was dealt with extremely quickly and efficiently.

Cons:

Bathroom could use some updating.

Pros:

Easy to locate, arrived on a motorcycle after disembarking ferry from Spain.
Car park under hotel was one of my main decisions & location for choosing this hotel, along with the Copthorne brand.
Check in was quick & carried out by a pleasant staff member, Ana.
Room was large & airy, nuce bathrooms facilities too.
Had a nice cooked buffet style breakfast following morning.
Check out was easy.

Cons:

I would have thought a hotel in the Copthorne brand would have had air conditioning throughout including rooms & oublic areas.
It was a warm night so I used the ceiling fan & also left the windows open.

Pleasant, clean hotel but very impersonal service
Pros:

A lovely large room with everything we needed and a large bathroom as well. Receptionist on arrival was very pleasant. Location is perfect for Plymouth centre.

Cons:

When we returned from Plymouth centre after having eaten on Saturday night, we just wanted a nightcap before we went to bed. To be fair, it was 11.20 pm, but the shutters were down on the bar and the barman declined to serve us a drink, saying that he was closed and had done all the paperwork. A little flexibility and a little goodwill does go a long way with guests. Not sure I would stay there again.

I wouldn't say this is a 4* hotel... but satisfactory for 1 night
Pros:

The location is great. The staff are friendly.

Cons:

Their isn't any air conditioning in the rooms - with a young baby, in a heat wave this wasn't at all ideal. The breakfast was very oily.
