Location was good, very central. Friendly housekeeping staff. Low price, but I had 2 discounts from Booking.com: 1 genius discount and 1 getaway discount, and still the advertised price in the hotel itself was the same. So that means that you're being overcharged on this platform.
Paper thin walls, could hear every soft cough of the neighbors. The mattress was terrible, I actually hurt myself moving around on it. Metal spiral sticks right through. Shower leaks and water doesn't flush through, so you have 1 minute to shower before it floods. Receptionist a bit cold. We left half an hour before breakfast started to catch a train and asked a day before if we could have an early breakfast or a little takeaway package, as we paid for it after all. Answer is no. No big deal, but other hotels in Kazakhstan did do it, so it shows different service.

The hotel staff did not provide what was mentioned in my booking. The room had no large bed, no breakfast, and no Wi-Fi as it is mentioned on the booking, and they overcharged me 1000 Tenge more. They are cheaters. I don't recommend anyone book this hotel blindly. It doesn't deserve your money. Better choose hotels in the center.

Lack of Wi-Fi in all rooms in the building adjacent to the one with reception, some rooms in this building are really dim (windows front onto a wall)

The swimming pool is actually a pool. Definitely you will not be able to swim there. There’s only one small fridge for all budget rooms.
