Facilities and views

Since it is pretty near at one of my company's headquarters (it was a business trip), it is very convenient. It somewhat noisy due to being close to the Phoenix airport. The breakfast food is pretty good as well as their cleaning service for the rooms. Their staff at the front desk needs to improve when committing to do a service to their guests.

The Hyatt Place Tempe airport exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing from the minute. I checked in to the drop off at the airport thenext morning. I will definitely be back.

We visited for a quick 7 hour rest between flights. I would not have wanted to stay much longer, and I will not likely return to this property.

The lobby/entry area was crowded and chaotic, as it was during the middle of breakfast service. There were tables crammed in the tiny dining area as well as the tiny lobby area. Very crowded. We decided to skip breakfast, as the offering did not look appealing.

The free airport shuttle was a big pain. We waited at least 30 min at the airport, and ended up having to call to have the hotel to have them send one. I tried to book the shuttle for our return to the airport, but was informed that a large group had booked all the shuttles for a large block of time (several hours), and therefore I was advised to take an Uber to the airport. I ended up paying $20 for this Uber. This was especially disappointing because I called the hotel prior to booking my room, and was informed that the shuttles ran frequently and were regularly available.

The room did not appear very clean, there was visible dust on the phone and on various surfaces, just an overall dingy feeling.

Bed and pillows were not super comfortable.

I do not recommend this property for Globalists, there is not enough Globalist recognition nor benefits.

Room was spacious for our family.

Close to airport, good breakfast and extended parking

The Hyatt Place is a Very nice hotel, which serves a good breakfast. I loved the location which was near ASU and the fancy river bridges in Tempe. My family and I are going to stay here every year we visit AZ for MLB Spring training.

Well organized, in good condition, comfortable bed, good sink and shower arrangement.

Wasn’t what I expected for the price. Rooms are small, our shower leaked every-time we showered and the toilet area floor was wet majority of the time, rooms do not have a microwave, has refrigerator but it is very small & “queen” beds are also small. I’d say they are a full size bed. They lock main parking area entrance door and you have to walk around to enter after a certain time in the evening! Seemed odd considering you have to have a key to enter. The breakfast was decent and the window coverings as well. I wouldn’t recommend for the price & wont stay here again.

I came in a day early for a vacay and needed a place to stay overnight. Free shuttle, free breakfast and a pool. What more does one need? Sound of planes overhead heard during the day by the pool.

Great customer service and the rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff were very helpful and check in was awesome. Staff were very friendly and suggested points of interrest for us during our stay. Will for sure stay again in the near future.
