The LINE Hotel LA

The room wasn’t very clean, and the facilities felt old and outdated. The hotel could use better maintenance and more attention to cleanliness.

No ability to control room temperature. Room was 68. I turned thermostat to heat to 72. AC continued to blast lowering temperature to 66. Only thing I could do was turn it off. It seemed like room temperature controls were fake.

Cleanliness wasn’t up to par and overpriced. Rooms are small. Windows are filthy. Carpet was filthy.

This place used to be great, but they haven't done any upkeep. Checked into one room and the ac didn't work & the bathroom light made an electrical buzzing noise. Moved to another room where the ac made a terrible loud noise. Both rooms were scruffy with scuffed furniture, stained carpets, exposed wiring on the floor.

The pictures of the property are deceptive. Only a very small pool, restaurants lacking and very overpriced. The rooms are vey small. Very few amenities for the price.. watch your bill because they will be up charges on things you did not know.

I consumed drinks from the minibar, The hotel explained that daily $20 food and beverage credit provide but I was charged the full amount instead. I also paid about $59 for breakfast, which was terrible.

Nothing could’ve been better

Seems like management is a little weak because I had to go back and forth to change keys 3 times when I checked in a front desk didn't acknowledge the problem, kept saying it was the door when it actually was the key card not being programed properly. Front desk clerk did not appologize for the inconvinience or show empathy. Otherwise, it was a good experience. 7-11 right across the street.

Front desk staff was apathetic & unhelpful & unwelcoming. The room they put me in SMELLED! The request for ‘good view, our first visit’ I put through Bookings.com and to which they responded! The front desk guy had no idea of it and simply dismissed it, including the manager standing next to him. Gave me the worst room in the hotel on the 3rd floor: smelly, windows didn’t open hence the stench, worst view - a flat roof running across underneath the window. The room I was shifted to on 4th floor had loud street noise all night & the AC fan made sound of a small plane engine all night long. It is a shame that Bookings.com has this hotel on their offer!!

O facto do estacionamento ser um extra, bastante caro, para quem está hospedado. Felizmente, existem parques de estacionamento com preços bem mais acessíveis e a poucos metros do hotel (e com elevada segurança) que compensam deixar o carro.

A zona da piscina era bastante barulhenta, e os chuveiros não funcionavam. Ao mesmo tempo, a piscina tinha alguma sujidade na superfície (recomendo manutenção diária, por exemplo, nos períodos mais calmos).

Quanto ao quarto, havia uma dificuldade em regular a temperatura e a pressão da água, ou seja, se queríamos uma temperatura mais baixa, a pressão diminuía. É impossível encontrar um meio-termo para tomar um duche.

Por último, um hotel de 4 estrelas não ter serviço de pequeno-almoço e compensar com um pequeno café na zona da recepção, acho muito pouco para o tipo de serviço e qualidade exigidos para um hotel com esta classificação.

There is a $30 per day surcharge that includes $20 off food and drink at the bars and restaurants. This would be fine except for it is not factored into your actual balance. When you check out, you will see it reflected on your bill but when you see your actual credit card charges, they do not deduct that $20. nobody likes this kind of surprises after you've already checked out, they are nearly impossible to reverse after the fact and it requires time on the phone and patience. The place itself is fine but I don't like that sort of tricky.
