The customer service was superb! Everyone at the front desk and the supervisor I spoke with was very kind, patient, and understanding. They gave me a feeling of calmness in the middle of a storm. I really appreciate them for being so warm and welcoming.
My initial room I was given flooded. Water just started flowing out of the bottom of the toilet and flooded our entire room. The room we were moved to had a leak in the ceiling which caused a puddle of water in the living area floor. Very inconvenient, clothes and shoes were damaged.
The maintenance and housekeeping staff were nice and as helpful as they could be, considering.
The room was clean and the lobby was open and inviting.
We immediately had issues with the heat & a/c. Our room temp was 81 and maintenance had to come open the ceiling to switch to a/c. Then later that night we couldn't control the a/c. So, at 10:50pm maintenance had to come turn the heat back on. For a $300/night hotel, you should have the ability to switch between heat & a/c no matter the season. Not have someone opening a hatch in the ceiling to switch between twice a day.
Also, evidently March is soccer season. Tons of unsupervised kids ran around the hotel all Friday and Saturday. They knocked on doors and ran, spit over the railings onto the lobby, and ran during social hours at the bar. We could not even enjoy the bar area after dinner. They ran up and down the stairs all night screaming and yelling. Finally, when we called Saturday evening at 8pm, the front desk said she was aware and security was walking around. They continued to run all night until about midnight. You could not enjoy breakfast Saturday or Sunday morning. Kids all in the food playing, screaming and running between other guests. The parents did a poor job of supervising their kids and the staff did not enforce the "10pm quiet time" as the huge sign said. This was a miserable visit. I stayed after a Board meeting to enjoy the weekend away and it was awful. The environment and facilities were beautiful, but the room temp issue and the wild kids were NOT. The employees kept apologizing and saying it was "soccer time" but that is unacceptable. Especially as a Hilton Honors member who spent hours finding the perfect suite with amenities that we could enjoy.
I will not be returning or advising anyone else to.
Also, the poorly copied piece of paper with instructions on the hotel info had typos and looked like a child did it. I recently the day before stayed at another Hilton property and was very pleased. Embassy Suites in Richmond left an awful taste in my mouth
The bed was very comfortable and the fact that we had ppa room separate from the living area.
The fact that our refrigerator was broken

The set up. It was amazing and pretty. Room set up was nice
The bathroom sink was gargling all night kept us awake all night. The bathroom floor was filthy
Location, breakfast, and the reception hour also the room was spacious
It was hot. It was hot in the hallways, elevator even my room. I couldn’t get the thermostat to work
The space
The kitchenette looked terrible ! And the 8th floor was burning up
Nothing.
Location, ambience, room temperature and comfort, breakfast experience and atmosphere, way overpriced venue.
I had a lovely experience at this hotel. The kindness from all the workers I received was exemplary. Along with this, the dining area is satisfactory. I am looking forward to coming again.
lovely food lovely service and people
i really enjoyed the atmosphere and treatment. The rooms were neat and clean. The location meant easy access to go buy other things if needed, great value overall.
It was the perfect atmosphere to watch the Super Bowl. Great specials and Shanna made the night perfect. She definitely deserves some praise!
This was my second time staying at this property. We booked two rooms and both were in horrible shape. I’ve attached photos. In summary: extensive water damage, mold and mildew, (likely) semen stains on the couch, shelves being held up (dangerously) by chairs, broken heat. I addressed some of the concerns to management during the stay and after the stay but nothing was done. I would personally avoid this property until it’s completely redone.
