It was ok
Pros:

The room was nice looking shower was great

Cons:

The lady at the desk checking us in had not received the booking and left us standing there for 45 minutes even though I had the conformation email and did not know what to do and was rude. The room smelled musty as well

Stay here!!! Well worth it. Breakfast was great, rooms are big spacious and clean, great staff.
Pros:

The room was very big. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The door between the lounge area and the bedroom was very convenient. Big TV. Bathroom was nice. Entire room was very clean. Comfortable couch. TV in lounge area of the room very clutch. The hotel has such a cool layout and look to the inside.

Pros:

During this past visit I was assisted by Gavin at the front desk and he pleasantly changed my room requirements as I was traveling with a special needs individual. He was professional and listened well. He continued the excellent service I have come to know at this location. The hotel grounds, lobby, reception and dining areas are always in excellent order. Like the front desk staff the breakfast staff is top tier. The breakfast is the best in any hotel around. The rooms are in great need of updating and improved maintenance. I continue to overlook the room conditions because they are clean and I always feel safe here and because of the other areas already addressed. I will happily give 5 stars when the guest rooms are in better shape.

I was not ok with how they changed my room to go to a worst rom and my kids got sick.

Cockroaches and Water Damage
Pros:

I stayed at Embassy Suites Richmond and I honestly had mixed feelings. Check-in was fine and the photos online looked good, but they were misleading.

The room itself was not in good shape. The bathroom had water damage on the door and walls, everything felt very old, and there were dead cockroaches in the room. That was really disappointing and uncomfortable.

If you stay here, definitely inspect your room carefully as soon as you check in. From what I saw, the property isn’t being taken care of the way it should be.
