Beautiful hotel but customers are racist smells bad everywhere
Pros:

Beautiful hotel! But some of the customers were really racist. And only one cleaner which was a black old man

Cons:

Smells bad everywhere and it’s very hot which gave me a bad headache so I left. Tried to tell one of the front desk representatives to spray or buy automatic spray and she got mad at me and hung up. Only one black older man cleaner the whole day

When did this become a 1-star hotel?
Pros:

Hilton should be ashamed of the condition of the rooms in this hotel - extremely dated and worn. I felt like I was in a cheap flea bag motel. To start, there are stains all over the carpet; walls are paper thin between rooms; stained and falling apart ceiling tiles; chipped and stained tub and fixtures in the bathroom; tub that won't drain; toilet that won't flush; and to top it off, a completely torn bed sheet. The hotel's only saving grace is their nice lobby and great staff. Diamond member. Won't be staying here again until there has been a COMPLETE renovation of the rooms.

If we come back to Milwaukee, this is definitely where we will stay again.
Pros:

This was a very beautiful property very clean spacious rooms. Very good price they made to order breakfast and buffet was amazing. Nice atmosphere safe parking safe environment very friendly staff.

Enjoyable stay

Nice room, slow flushing toilet, room temperature issues
Pros:

My wife and I have stayed at the Embassy Suites in our last 2 or 3 trips to the Brookfield area. Among the aspects we like are the suite design (with a door to the bedroom that can be closed), the open atrium on the ground floor, the made-to-order omelet bar included in the free daily breakfast, the comfortable bed, the room darkening curtains, the relative quiet, and the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff.

During our most recent visit, in December 2025, we were originally in Suite 427, at the back of the hotel (where it tends to be quieter). We noticed the toilet did not flush well, and a maintenance worker plunged the toilet while we were out, after we reported this to the front desk. Unfortunately, the toilet was still very slow to flush, so they moved us to Suite 424.

The toilet in this room also had a relatively weak, slow flush. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that this is a known issue with several rooms in the hotel, so we decided to live with it.

There was a new issue in the new room, though: we could not get the temperature lower than 71 degrees unless we opened a window. When I asked about this, I was told this is also a known issue (for some rooms), and the front desk suggested we could also turn off the fan, since the fan was drawing the hot air from the atrium into our room. I imagine they would have moved us again, if we'd requested it, but we decided to live with this as well.

We will still consider the Embassy Suites during future visits, but I will likely call the hotel to get more specific information about which rooms are least likely to have problems with slow toilets and/or temperature control.
