I'll book this hotel again.
Pros:

Breakfast options and complimentary room items. The hotel also accommodated for an early check-in time at 12noon which we were satisfied with as we celebrated my son's 5th birthday.

Cons:

I didn't like the depth of the swimming pool. I am no more than 5ft and I was really nervous in the water. My children used floating devices however, there was admitted anxiety since I can't swim and they were in the water.

The Kapok - Great Value
Pros:

We used to live in Trinidad so know The Kapok quite well. It didn't disappoint - a wonderful breakfast up in the top floor restaurant with great views. The pool area has been improved and is lovely. The rooms are a little dated, but this almost adds to the charm. Towels and toiletries provided and replaced daily. Room very clean. Good sized bed, but a little bit squeaky.

Cons:

The bar outside near the pool area was closed - probably as it was quite quiet at the time. Will be a great feature in the summer ...
