The Barnes San Francisco, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I stayed at this hotel during Super Bowl weekend. There were so many people staying in the city which usually means customer service suffers but that wasn’t the case here. I was greeted at the front desk by Francisco. He helped me get the best room available and helped me extend my room an extra night when I decided to stay longer.

The room itself was comfortable and clean.

The bartenders at night were really cool and kept the drinks flowing. Overall a great experience.

The service I received from Carmen, and from Francisco, was excellent. Carmen was helpful the entire time, even before I got there. She was really pleasant on the telephone.

Frankie and Carmen were very accommodating and made my stay feel like home! The rest of the staff was also very kind and the hotel was clean!

Absolutely loved my stay at the property, perfect location for getting around, tastefully decorated rooms and delicious breakfast buffet offering - made even better by Yasmine who is friendly/professional, but her wealth of knowledge about the city was invaluable in helping me navigate as well as discover some hidden gems !!

The in-site restaurant is pretty good. I love the breakfast and dinner here. A very convenience location.Rooms not too big but ok. Employee who called Frankie is a very nice guy, he did a great job for front desk. Also Angel is a good server here.

It was a great experience the hotel has a great location and atmosphere. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Yasmine was always very kind to us and attentive to our needs.

Yasmine was great all week—truly outstanding. She was always friendly, and attentive, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of promptly. Her warm attitude and excellent service really made our stay more enjoyable.

Visiting from out of town . Great location, clean rooms , comfortable bed! friendly staff ! Yasmine who worked the breakfast shift was lovely !

The good:
**It’s a nice hotel. I love the history- people complain about the creaks but it’s got character.
**The staff… Frankie is a sweetheart.
**I did not notice any excessive smells and I am sensitive as hell.

The bad:
**um… well, not terrible but the size of the bathroom for room 207 at least is TINY. The bathmat only just fit on the floor.

The ugly:
**holy IKEA rejects, who suggested those sofas?!! Bright baby blue plastic covers on the cushions?
**I wasn’t impressed with the art either- some random guy’s lower face with what appears to be a gang sign or something.

In all… yes I’d definitely return.
