Room cleanness and poor amenities. There was a weird smell in the room also.

Hôtel en plein centre ville, personnel très sympa, souriant et serviable. Monsieur Punya, à la réception, est très à l'écoute des clients et vous apporte son aide, dans l'ensemble ils sont tous rapides et efficaces.

Cons:

Nous sommes restés 5 jours et ils ne sont pas passés une fois pour nettoyer la chambre car c'est un service payant (40 $). Ils ont proposé de changer les essuis mais aucun nettoyage possible sans prévenir l'accueil. Lits assez inconfortables, un rafraichissement serait bien mais si c'est uniquement pour dormir, cet hôtel représente un bon deal.

Quaint welcoming hotel
Pros:

The free breakfast was pretty incredible.

The price was great for the hotel.

They didn't trip that I had a few extra friends stop in to hang out.

Staff was super nice and helpful.

Cons:

Bathroom and room, over all, was smaller than I expected.

I would like to formally address the serious issues I experienced during my recent stay.

Upon arrival, we were initially placed in a room that was not the category I had reserved and paid for. The room was significantly smaller and not what was confirmed in my booking. When I raised this concern at the front desk, I was informed that the room I had reserved was unavailable. Only after requesting to speak with a manager was the issue corrected and the room changed.

Unfortunately, the replacement room was in unacceptable and unsafe condition. The shower was broken and misaligned, causing water to flood approximately 20 cm across the bathroom floor, creating a serious safety hazard, especially with electrical appliances such as the hair dryer nearby. I also stepped on an exposed nail protruding through the carpet. The mattress was noticeably smaller than the bed frame, and the sharp bed corners repeatedly caused injury. Additionally, there was visible dust in the room, a damaged window that could not be opened, and an air conditioning unit that was excessively loud, sounding like a motorboat.

Overall, the condition of the room was far below acceptable hospitality standards. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise others to consider alternative options.

Another great stay in one of our favorite San Francisco Hotels.
Pros:

Location and Price are excellent! Clean, comfortable and free basic breakfast buffet in the morning. San Francisco is extremely walkable and public transportation is readily available not far from the hotel. This has become our go to place to stay for an overnight visit into the City.

Cons:

Just a heads up that the hotel is in an older historic building which is not a negative at all,in my opinion,but there are a few small steps down into the lobby and breakfast room. I would recommend contacting the hotel regarding accessibility for wheelchair and walker users if you have questions about accessing those areas.
