Tutto
Niente
I've stayed at this hotel a couple times and enjoyed my stay both times. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is convenient to Chinatown, North Beach, and Union Square. It was very close to public transportation and I was able to easily catch buses, light rail trains, or the BART anywhere I wanted to go. (Or just BART, no "the", as the locals say.)
There's a beautiful outdoor rooftop area if you need some quiet outdoor time to yourself, and there's a fridge in the room for leftovers. My favorite thing about this place though? There's a COMMUNAL MICROWAVE for heating up any leftovers you might accrue!! As someone who orders way too much food on vacation, but also is a child of immigrants that hates wasting food, truly this is an amazing touch that sets this place above the rest. No more letting leftovers go to waste! Also there were several water dispensers with great quality water that you didn't have to go into the fitness center for!
The staff was always very friendly and helpful anytime I needed anything. And the sipping hour was fun - you can grab a gin cocktail and also trail mix!! I believe there was also complimentary tea and coffee available in the mornings, though I am not a big caffeine drinker and also often slept in.
I'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Le personnel ete tres sympa, je recommend vivemment
Location, charm, amenities, price, staff.
This was a very well located hotel; clean and comfortable, and my room was more spacious than expected. The staff were great, and it also felt secure. Would stay again.
The biggest thing to know is that (my room at least) had a lot of street noise. I didn't mind this as much because it made me feel less alone as a solo traveller and I felt comforted by the activity, but I can see how it might bother some people.
Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Das Galleria Park war das beste Hotel unserer gesamten dreiwöchigen USA-Reise. Tolle Zimmer, super Lage und sehr freundlicher Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Nichts
I was in town from Los Angeles for SF Sketchfest working at a comedy show in Chinatown, and attending shows in the Mission. The location was perfect for walking to Union Square, Chinatown and North Beach. The staff at Galleria Park was outstanding and very friendly, accommodating and conversational. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The daily sipping hour at 5pm was lovely and consisted of a light snack and a free gin cocktail. We had a big fridge in our room our suite had a Peloton bike in the room which motivated me to exercise at least once during the stay. There were multiple water refill stations and microwaves throughout the building. My partner and I used ride share to get around, but one day we decided to get a day pass for the bus for only $5.85 and I liked it more than rideshare. We took the the bus to the Mission and North Beach- it was extremely convenient from our hotel and ran frequently. One of the buses was a refurbished historic street car. I will definitely stay here when I'm in SF again!
The location was great. It was centrally located to many surrounding tourist interest, e.g. Fisherman's Wharf, Macy's, Union Square, etc. The atmosphere was very welcoming and accommodating. With three of us traveling together, I got to see 3 different rooms, each unique. They were all very nice with two of them being adjoining making it seem like a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were definitely worth the value. The cleanliness of the rooms were spot on, as I didn't have any reservations about whether it was safe or not to sleep on the sheets. The only experience I had that wasn't the most optimum was the noise level on the first night. I will attribute this to the days I stayed. My first night was on a Thursday and that night in particular must have been the surrounding businesses delivery days as well as garbage pickups and maybe even street cleaning, etc making the noise level a bit high. However, the following days i.e. Friday and Saturday nights were good. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again hands down.
This was my third stay at the Galleria Park Hotel. This is a historic and charming boutique hotel perfectly situated near San Francisco’s Union Square and Financial District. The hotel and guest rooms are beautifully designed with classic finishes and equipped with modern amenities (e.g., Illy’s coffee/espresso makers in each room) that add that ‘special touch’ to the stay. The staff are SUPER friendly and responsive. As a solo female traveler who enjoys traveling to big cities around the world, the Galleria Park’s location can’t be beat. It is safe, close to restaurants and cafes (e.g., Blue Bottle coffee is literally next door to the hotel), and ideally situated for travelers who like being able to walk out the front door of the hotel and explore on foot. Getting an Uber or Waymo at this location is also a piece of cake. I highly recommend this property for travelers who enjoy staying in a beautiful, perfectly situated, and well-run boutique hotel located in the heart of SF.
