The gym and breakfast
The housekeeping service was poor. Carparking prices were outrageous - half the price at a municipal secure carpark next door but this wasn't mentioned at check-in.
The location
They do not mention that you have to pay $35 a night for parking. There’s a QR code to scan to set everything up but it never gives you a price even when you finalize so you get a surprise $35 charge on your card for parking. Then the bed was said to be a king size, but it was really a queen size bed in which the metal frame was sticking out and it left a scar on my shin after I hit it. The room was kind of dusty for being an upper end hotel.
Very nice
The rooms are noticeably fresh and well-maintained, and more spacious than you’d expect at this price point. As a returning guest, we’ve been offered complimentary upgrades on more than one occasion — a small gesture that goes a long way in making you feel valued rather than just another booking. The balconies are a particular highlight: there’s something genuinely relaxing about ending the evening outside with a drink, watching the city wind down.
But what keeps us coming back is the staff. Friendly, warm, and unhurried — they’ll take a moment to actually talk with you, offer a recommendation, or help sort something out without making you feel like an inconvenience. In an industry where hospitality can feel scripted, it’s refreshing when it feels real.
We have been returning to this hotel every year for the past three years. It has been our go-to in Denver — or at least, it was.
The first thing we noticed this year was the removal of the complimentary continental breakfast, which had always been one of the hotel’s genuine highlights and a meaningful part of the value proposition. It is now sold separately, which is disappointing enough on its own. But the bigger issue is the apparent disconnect between the hotel and the restaurant operating within it — they seem to function as entirely separate entities, with no coordination on policies or communication. Every morning, the breakfast experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily stressful, made worse by the host stationed at the restaurant entrance who spoke very limited English and offered almost no assistance to guests trying to figure out what was included, what wasn’t, and who to speak to. What should be a relaxed morning ritual became a minor ordeal each day.
But the most serious issue — and the one that will prevent us from ever returning — is the handling of our security deposit. We left $350 per person in cash, $700 in total, as a damage deposit. Cash was specifically chosen for the simplicity of the return process. When we checked out on an early Sunday morning, staff informed us they did not have the funds available to return our money. After nearly thirty minutes of back-and-forth, we were offered a check, then told the amount would instead be refunded to a card. It has now been over 40 days. The $700 has not been returned.
This is no longer an inconvenience — it is a financial dispute with a hotel we trusted.
Warwick, we have been loyal guests for three years. This is not the standard we expected from you, and it is not one we are willing to overlook. We will be taking our future Denver stays elsewhere.
Central location, very professional yet personable staff. The rooms are spacious and clean
Construction, but it wasn't that noisy and the rooms were fairly quiet. And that isn't the hotels fault that there is construction noise.
Comfortable room, WiFi, free coffee and refreshments/drinks throughout the stay.
Cleaning staff could have been more aware regarding the spots dirt is accumulating. The absence of a handheld showerhead made showering a bit complicated.

The air conditioning system in the room was quite noisy sometimes
In general the stay at the hotel was fine, including the restaurant.
This was a business trip and I needed an invoice for reimbursement. Once in Denver the staff at the reception desk of the hotel told me that they could not provide it, that booking should give it to me because the payment was done through booking.com. Booking.com answered me twice that it was the hotel who had to give me the invoice. I wrote the hotel through Booking.com about it and they did not answered me. In all my trips, I have got the invoice from the hotel but this time it did not work. Only, during the check-out when I became very serious, I got some printed information, I could not get the final invoice with the total amount. I do not recommend reserving this hotel through booking.com if you need the invoice. The hotel should have told me this when I booked the room.
