Beautiful location overlooking La Jolla, easy to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Especially enjoyed starting our days with Laila at the 11th floor restaurant - great views!

Laila took care of me every morning for breakfast. She is how I will remember the restaurant- 5 stars.

While the hotel decor stands up to the 4 stars category, the shower is without pressure control, and both soaps and towels were scarce.
They nickel and dime you on everything: internet, bikes you might use, and a huge extra list, even on an prepaid breakfast. So be prepared to add a lot to your booking charges. Sadly, despite an overall pleasant stay we felt cheated. My suggestion to the hotel is, raise the price of the room rather than sneak in invented charges. The view from the restaurant is lovely, if you are OK with paying $8.00 for a bottle of water.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel La Jolla. What truly made it special was the exceptional service my fiancé and I received at the Sea & Sky restaurant. Laila and Eddie were outstanding, warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to make our Valentine’s Day brunch feel memorable and special.

We came for brunch at Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton, and it was such a beautiful experience made even more special by Laila. She was our server and truly stood out. Laila was incredibly sweet, attentive, and full of positive energy.

What made it memorable was not just the service but the connection. She took the time to talk with us about her life, and we shared some of our experiences too. It felt genuine and natural, not forced. She added such a warm and personal touch to our brunch.

Her personality is absolutely amazing, and you can tell she brings light wherever she goes. Hotel La Jolla is fortunate to have someone like Laila representing them. We will definitely be back.

This hotel gets points for location. The curio collection in the states is very hit and miss and sadly, this converted motel is a miss in my book. We arrived on Super Bowl Sunday for a two night stay and Daniel, the operations manager told me that unfortunately there were no upgrades for a diamond member because they were full for part of our stay. Okay, I hadn’t asked for one. He gave us a room on third floor and much to my surprise the doors are all on the outside motel style. 308 smelled musty and when i pulled back the sheets they were dirty. Went back downstairs and he told me we could try 403. Fine. The room still smelled off and there was mildew in shower on ceiling. And the privacy curtain on shower was completely banged up. There are no views of the ocean until 5th floor. Sheets were tattered. Bed and pillows lumpy. Walls paper thin. I could hear EVERYTHING the neighbors said next to me as well as trash pick up, delivery trucks and housekeeping with a sound machine on. The hotel seemed empty especially the three times we went to the restaurant. On Monday night at 4 pm there was a bartender and a hostess with one person sitting at the bar. I asked if my daughter and I could have our drinks at the two top beside the bar and hostess stand to see the ocean (no views from bar tables) and i was told no. They were getting the dining room ready for dinner. Customer service lacks. Operations manager had attitude and my final bill had charges on it that i needed to have removed. Parking is $45 a day for self park. Pool is 3 feet deep. I would never stay here again.

Always love coming here, eating breakfast on 11th floor, seeing the beautiful view and being served by the wonderful Laila and Ed who ALWAYS remember me. So sweet!

Very great good and service. Our waitress Laila was very nice and attentive. Our food came out fast and tasted amazing. Overall, had a great brunch experience.

Great location, very nice property. Staff at Sea and Sky are juat lovely - shoult out to Laila and Brian for being ao welcoming and accommodating and friendly.
