Stilvoller Aufenthalt im Herzen von Porto

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Dom Henrique bot eine gelungene Mischung aus zentraler Lage und modernem Hotelkomfort. Wer Porto zu Fuß oder mit dem ÖPNV erkunden möchte, findet hier eine ideale Basis.
Lage & Erreichbarkeit
Das Hotel ist hervorragend an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz angebunden: Die Metrostationen Trindade und Bolhão sind in etwa 10 Gehminuten bequem erreichbar. Für einen Spaziergang zur berühmten Brücke Ponte Dom Luís I oder in die historische Altstadt sollte man eine gute halbe Stunde einplanen – ein schöner Weg, um die Atmosphäre der Stadt aufzusaugen.
Ausstattung: Design trifft auf Weitblick
Das Hotel erstreckt sich über 17 Stockwerke und setzt architektonisch Akzente.
• Highlight: Ganz oben thronen ein Restaurant und eine exzellente Rooftop-Bar, die einen fantastischen Blick über Porto bieten.
• Aktivität & Business: Für Sportbegeisterte gibt es ein ungewöhnlich gut ausgestattetes Gym. Zudem ist das Haus dank zahlreicher Konferenzräume bestens auf Business-Gäste vorbereitet.
Wohnen in der Comfort Suite
Wir residierten in einer Comfort Suite, die mit zwei separaten Zimmern und einem Badezimmer viel Privatsphäre bot.
• Platzangebot: Die Suite war angenehm geräumig und punktete mit reichlich Stauraum für das Gepäck.
• Extras: Beide Zimmer verfügten über einen eigenen Fernseher. Die Ausstattung mit Minibar, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher ließ keine Wünsche offen.
• Schlafkomfort: Besonders hervorzuheben sind die blickdichten Vorhänge – sie dunkeln perfekt ab und sorgen für eine ungestörte Nachtruhe.
Das Badezimmer war funktional und sauber mit Lavabo, Toilette und Dusche sowie einer großzügigen Auswahl an Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet.
Kulinarik
Das Frühstück wurde als klassisches Standardbuffet serviert. Es bot eine gute Qualität und eine solide Auswahl, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war – ein gelungener Start in den Tag.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt an einer typischen, leicht abfallenden Kopfsteinpflasterstraße. Durch den ständigen Verkehr herrscht hier eine permanente Geräuschkulisse. Da unsere Suite im ersten Stock lag, bekamen wir das rege Treiben auf der Straße natürlich mit. Wir empfanden die Geräusche zwar nicht als direkt störend, allerdings muss man ehrlich sagen: Bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen, ist aufgrund des Verkehrslärms kaum möglich. Dank der guten Isolierung war es bei geschlossenen Fenstern jedoch angenehm.

Excellent hôtel, très bien situé et parfaitement entretenu.
Pros:

Très bon petit déjeuner. Un bémol pour le pain… Directeur de l’hôtel adorable. Disponible pour ses clients et réceptif aux requêtes. J’ai beaucoup apprécié son attitude et son empathie.
J’ai aussi apprécié une des dames qui s’occupe du petit déjeuner. Celle avec une longue tresse. Très efficace et compétente.
