Hotel Indigo Harrisburg - Hershey by IHG

Easy check in

Good location, decent price, friendly staff, clean room, quiet, proximity to restaurants and highways.

We stayed at this Indigo brand hotel on 06/28/2026 for one night using my IHG rewards points. At check in, a $ 150 was charged to my Visa card for incidental charge for the stay. The hotel was ok for one night . The only minor issues were the shower knob and the sink faucet were loosed, we did informed the front desk of the issues during check out.

We checked out on 06/29/2026. On this review date of 07/20/2026, we still had not received our $ 150 incidental fee refund back to my credit card. We had made 3 phone calls to front desk and one E Mail to the manager office the last 3 weeks. At this review time, We still waiting for the manager to contact us. This is unacceptable for me to keep monitoring my refund.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Indigo at Harrisburg for one night. When I checked in after 9pm, Kaprice was working at the front desk and she was able to accommodate my last-minute request for a room closer to the elevator, even though the hotel was fully booked. I was traveling with my mother, who has mobility issues, and this little action made our stay that much easier and enjoyable. After an 11 hour drive, I was able to enjoy a swim in the pool that night and also used the fitness center in the morning, which had a variety of equipment and was very clean. The complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent, and Archie made our check-out process seamless. Great staff, incredible service, and if I’m ever traveling through the area again, I know where I’ll be staying.

I took my three grandkids ages 8,7,and4 to Hersheypark. We stated the hotel, indigo in Harrisburg and from the beginning it wasn’t a good experience. The guy spoke to on the phone when I tried to add it additional day talked badly about the third-party company I had booked with becauseI didn’t book directly with them. I got to the hotel had to put $150 deposit down for incidentals that I will never use and I understand that have to put the deposit down for incidentals but because I had added a day I had to put down a $300 deposit because they made me check out of the room on Friday and check back in under the other reservation number and when I said that they didn’t make any sense they already have my credit card for the deposit thatwas insane to put $300 on incidentals that I’ll never use. Nobody cared at the hotel. The hotel manager didn’t call me. She said she was going to twice she was never there on site totalk to me. She was there one day talking to a regional manager, and refused to come out of the office to speak to me when I called number that I was given by the front desk, they kept referring me back to the hotel. They said that it was individually owned, and I said the hotel manager didn’t even care enough to come out of the office to talk to me. When I checked into the hotel, I was about an hour late checking in because the room wasn’t ready at check-in time the microwave locked with food in it. I was heating up. I had to wait for somebody to figure out how to unlock the microwave because there’s no microwave in your room. There were four people in our room. I had to ask six times for towels that I ended up having to go down and get myself the hotel person brought up two towels unfortunately there were four of us in the room and new towels left in the. I think we’re really upset me. The most is that the hotel manager didn’t even come out to talk to me about anything so I canceled my additional night and I will never stay at a hotel indigo again. There are other hotels in Harrisburg and Hershey PA that were much better both in price and quality being that I’ve never been to Hersheypark before I did not know that I just knew I didn’t wanna stay at the resort because they are expensive. I should’ve stayed there regardless and just paid the additional money because the experience at hotel indigo no it doesn’t sound that bad when I’m saying it was worse in person. I almost forgot about the breakfast. I came down for breakfast that they serve in the hotel lobby. The bacon was raw. The scrambled eggs were burnt. The sausage was overcooked. Needless to say we did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

Our team stayed at Hotel Indigo Harrisburg for a tournament, and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, but the real stars were Cerita and Heidi.

We needed help organizing a team dinner, and they truly worked their magic. They helped us secure and set up the conference room, coordinated every detail, and made the entire process completely stress-free. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond made all the difference for our group.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay, but it was the exceptional customer service that made this trip memorable. Cerita and Heidi turned what could have been a logistical challenge into a seamless and enjoyable event for our team.

We are so grateful for everything they did and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Airport shuttle

The morning staff and the breakfast team was great. The checkout was smooth, and the breakfast staff went above and beyond as it relates to explaining everything and timely service. They did offer wake up phone service.

Clean, updated

We stopped here for one night while in the area to do some fishing on the Susquehanna River. I must say that I was surprised. It was nice well kept and had a nice bar inside. The price was right it was convenient and I would definitely stay again.
