I booked two rooms, a standard Garden Inn Hotel, large parking lot. Rooms are clean but outdated. Restaurant has a nice small outdoor area. Diamond members receive $10 credit for breakfast per person, somehow I only received $10 even there were three of us. Two bottles of waters per room for Diamond members, extras are $2 each. Overalls, this hotel does its job for a quick stop.
Standard room like many other hotels
Never was able to have the full breakfast menu and restaurant area extremely short staffed with only once person working and only one cook so they cut the menu to a couple of items only. Dont offer it if you arent going to have it or be able to service the guests.
I had the pleasure to meet Natalie and Janie who have been so wonderful towards the guest. Their care and hospitality is visibly different and makes me go back to stay in this property for all my future trips to Raleigh. I enjoyed meeting them and enjoy their hospitality
Good location
Nice size pool
No fan in the bathroom and you could not keep door open so musty smell after taking shower
Sure enough I see mold under the soap dish which is inevitable with that kind of situation
Coffee machine was hard to figure out at first
We stayed at this hotel as we were in town for a youth conference. The staff was very helpful to meet all of our needs! Janie even allowed us use of a meeting room so our teens could reflect on the conference and enjoy some pizza! Overall, an excellent stay!!
Everything was awesome
My daughter and I came with my husband since he was sent here for a week for work. We arrived really early around 9am way before normal check in. We were greeted by Zamorah who was very pleasant and was able to check us in early which was great since we were up since 2am and were wiped out. The room was clean and decent for a basic double bed room with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. I didnt use the microwave or coffee machine. Our room had plenty of towels and we asked for an extra pillow which they supplied. The beds were fine, the pillows need some work. But I find that’s the case at almost every hotel I have stayed at. We did find it strange that we didn’t see a safe in our room. Our room was located on the back side of the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t hear the train as some stated in reviews I read.
We didn’t try the food in the hotel as we went out for lunch & dinner. There are plenty of places to eat within miles from the hotel. We did have a few drinks at the bar one of the nights and we laid out by the pool one of the days which was nice. House keeping was great. They did have a service come in to add streaming to the tv which was nice. Check out was a breeze with Janie the GM and since my daughter and I had to wait for my husband to be done with work before heading to the airport they allowed us to hang out in one of the rooms down stairs that had couches and chairs to relax. I just want to point out every time we saw Zamorah no matter the time of the day she was always smiling and happy to help with anything. I saw the receipt for the cost of the stay Monday-Friday and if I was paying I would say it was worth the price.
Zamorah, Jasmine and James were so helpful and friendly. My family and I was there for NCCU college tour and it was an emotional time for us. They made my stay peaceful and enjoyable.
We wanted to write a review on 2 people. The first one is a girl by the name of Natalie.
Natalie is a waitress/cook and jack of all trades person who works in the main level
restaurant. She is pure joy! She goes above and beyond in every respect! She is the
definition of customer service! Also, a truly wonderful magnetic presence is the GM
by the name of Janey. She loves her job and will go overboard to help in every realm.
What a team! If you are in this area, this hotel should be your first choice!

Extremely satisfied customer!
Janie McGinnis at the front desk did a superb job of welcoming me to the hotel from the moment I stepped into the door. She was very patient and helpful with my room mixup from another hotel. It was my mistake and she helped me navigate through the changes needed to them get my room situation corrected. She did it with both hospitality and love. I wish I could take with me and be the front desk personnel at every hotel stay I have in the future!!!
The hotel is always clean and the staff is always so nice. We like staying with Hilton because of the point perks and consistency of good service. We also like it when there is an in house restaurant so we don't have to go out after a stressful day of travel.
We were especially blessed by our waitress at breakfast, her name is Natalie. She was a ray of sunshine and we believe everything tasted better because of the love she served us with. We would come back to this facility just to be blessed by her again. Not kidding, she is the sweetest, most attentive and helpful waitress we have ever had. Hilton, don't loose her!
I just wanted to say shout out to Zamorah and Antonia. They helped resolve every issue I had and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Amazing stay, I will definitely be back!
