The location is 10/10
The hotel building is old and hallways are a bit smelly. Don’t expect a wow experience, you technically pay a good premium only for the location
Central
Cost of parking and it's location for drop off and pick up
L'emplacement
Il y avait de petits morceaux de vitre qui trainaient par terre dans notre chambre
Good location with pedways to nearby mall and parking.
Room was very dated with visible damage to furniture and walls. Building uses central heating/air conditioning with only fan controls in room, which would be fine normally except for the time we were there the air conditioning was not working in 30+degree weather.
Location
When paying over $300 per night I certainly would expect the room to be cleaned on a daily basis rather than every third night
Helpful staff
Location
Great location, staff was friendly and helpfull. Pool was nice for kids.
Room is very outdated, old. Kid walked in white socks in the room and had black dirt on them. Had old smell when just entered and had to open window. Drainage in the bathtub was bad, had to shower in few inches of water.
Location is great super close to downtown
You have to pay for parking and walk half a mile to get to the hotel. The rooms were small and outdated, they still had carpet. This might be picky but the tv wasnt a smart tv so we couldn't put movies on for the kids at night. And we asked for a microwave they said they would get it, we waited and waited, I called down to the front they said on it wasnt available. No on thought oh maybe we should call the room and let them know since we told them we would bring one. Then they said they would get us one and put us on the priority list but never got one.
For the price I could of stayed in bedford at an amazing hotel free parking and breakfast. but the location was worth it for us being right downtown is very convenient.
Really like the location
Rude staff. Ego driven service manager who talks down to guests
Downtown
No maid service and excessive price.
Great location. Very close to most things.
The hotel has a great location, but that's about where the positives end. Some basic amenities were missing, like an electric kettle and a hairdryer in the room.
The parking situation was also disappointing. It's advertised as being a one- or two-minute walk away, but it definitely felt farther. Since the hotel doesn't have on-site parking, it would be nice if they at least offered valet parking as a paid option. There is an indoor walkway connecting the parkade to the hotel, but it's confusing and not easy to navigate.
To make things worse, there was a mix-up with my parking payment. The hotel told me they had paid for it, but when I went to leave, the payment hadn't gone through and I had to pay again. No receipt was printed, and when I went back to the hotel for help, I was told to return to the parkade and sort it out myself.
Overall, the stay wasn't very pleasant, and I expected a smoother experience.
Comfy bed
Good location.
Staff were rude and unhelpful.
Air con was leaking in room asked them to fix it, claimed they did twice but was still leaking basically said they didn't believe me on the phone told them to come look. They refused. Offered to change room which was inconvenient as only 1 night left and had to repack everything and haul all to other side of floor. No help offered. Given double instead of queen and Much noisier room. Have logged official complaint not happy. Also not been given deposit back yet even though checked out hours ago.
The location of the property was good for what we needed.
The rooms were very dated and the bathroom didn't seem completely clean. There were no pool towels at the pool when we went and the pool house phone was disconnected.
The location was great. The bed was comfortable. Most of the staff were responsive.
Parking is just across the street, but it requires navigating a maze of three elevators and multiple buildings with inconsistent signage. I was familiar with the interface from having been in the garage and used the other buildings before. I had to give other guests directions multiple times.
The property is fine but a needs a little attention: some patched chips on the bathtub enamel, wallpaper starting to peel in a few places, etc.
Despite storing the room key in the envelope it was given to me in, I had to have the room key reset every time I tried to use it including the first, meaning I (a wheelchair user) had to go up to the room, fail, go back down to the desk, wait in line, get a replacement key, go back up the elevator and push on carpet to the room every time I left the room. I probably had to do this 9 times in 3 days, and it got old fast.
The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful to find overnight parking. The beds were very comfortable.
There was no fan in the washroom, the temperature was not controllable. There was no underground parking.
The Tv channel selection was small and you couldn’t access your Netflix account or Amazon Prime. The price of about 330$ per night was exorbitant. There was only one bath towel in the room even though we were two guests.
The pool, the restaurant, the location.
The parking, the tight room, navigating the building.
