for the date we were there it was fine, great location.
Pros:

close proximity to what we were doing.

We want to return for March break 18, 19 and 20 and the children's area / slide area was closed. We won't book if it is still under renovations.

Chelsea is a good, convenient and accessible hotel close to the hospitals/MaRS Centre
Pros:

The main general cafeteria like restaurant was closed for renovations. The in house restaurant Bistro 33 was open food okay, but expensive. No place to get a coffee or snack at night unless you go to the convenience store. This was because they are doing renovations.

Cons:

The smell throughout hotel, it's like a spray to make it smell fresh but i seem to be allergic to it. All hotels do this, some hotel smells are stronger than others. The room was very dry even with the heat off, I couldn't sleep. I would bring my humidifier next visit.

For 2-3 day the location was good, for longer if needed, could be a nice option

Pros:

Your staff were exceptional...from the gentleman at check in to your porters who observed we Had a family member in a wheelchair with oxygen and offered to help us by getting a trolly and loading our luggage and oxygen equipent, to the gentlemen who helped us with directions so very thorough and caring......to the young lady at checkout...thank you very much!
