Pros:

Staff was wonderful, especially bartenders at the pool bar. Room was clean with great AC and TV. Would return!!

Cons:

I expected to have the room stocked with water for drinking. Coffee maker was removed by cleaning staff so on our second morning we could not make coffee in the morning.

Tropical getaway close to live music shows.
Pros:

The lush grounds, felt like Hawaii. Free Bikes for an hour. Proximity to the music show. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

The hotel is amazing, lovely location, heated swimming pool, bar by the pool and restaurant on the site....there are some movies for younger children in the garden and some live music at the bar... good size rooms with some extra space for tea / coffee, little fridge and microwave- very handy space. We had a great time...Will highly recommend 👍😍

Humphrey's Half Moon Hotel was the perfect location for a solo weekend retreat. The tropical feel of the property made the resort feel secluded, quiet, and relaxed. The pool was fantastic! The room was comfortable. The location was ideal, with the airport less than 10 minutes away.

Cons:

The Resort Fee included amenities that were of little or no value to me - except the WiFi. WiFi was listed as "Free" in the hotel listing on Booking.com, but it really wasn't, since the Resort Fee was not optional.

This is TRULY an EXCEPTIONAL hotel property in a phenomenal location on Shelter Island.

ALL associates DAILY focus is to ALWAYS EXCEED THE CUSTOMERS EXPECTATIONS.

The hotel rooms, public areas, restaurant/bars are IMMACULATE: so
well maintained, updated, and absolutely beautifully landscaped.

This location has so many areas to walk to local area sites & entities, the bay and ocean, easy driving access to downtown San Diego, Coronado Island, La Jolla, Carlsbad, etc.

The property has live music in their music venue-bar plus a concert venue that has elite musical groups and individuals performing all summer with the likes of Ringo Starr, Robert Plant, Tower of Power, etc.
