It was similar to being in Hawaii and felt like Paradise.

Would recommend!
Pros:

The location is STUNNING. Watching the sunset over the bay was unreal. We could walk around Shelter Island from our hotel easily. The staff was so friendly. They generously provided us parking and waived the fee. The pool facilities and grounds felt like a jungle oasis. It was so quiet and beautiful. I will be staying here again.

best place to stay in San Diego
Pros:

Absolutely loved it here! Came for our honeymoon and the place was perfect. Heated pool and hot tub / firepits open until 11pm. Right on the water with beautiful views of the city and convenient in terms of location! We got to explore all of San Diego with only 10 to 20 minute drives to major destinations.

Easily the best hotel i’ve ever stayed in.
Pros:

Easily the best hotel i’ve ever stayed in. I love how it has so many amenities available such as a pool, jacuzzi, fire pits, a coy pond and so much more. Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Cons:

One thing I’d like them to add is more jacuzzis because the one gets pretty busy.

Wheelchair accessible
Pros:

the location and the grounds are nice but overall I'm very disappointed.

Cons:

Disappointed. We stayed 2 nights here. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room due to my his and being in a wheelchair. The room was way too small for a wheelchair. The bathroom was not big enough to access the roll in-shower easily. The door opened into the bathroom which made it very restrictive. We were not able to figure out how to work the "accessible" shower head. We had to call for help. We could not access the patio due to the size and there was a lip that prevented a wheelchair from rolling over. Very disappointed. This room was not at all a wheelchair accessible room. Do better Humphreys. People that have disabilities want to stay comfortably too. We will not stay here again.

Older hotel with beautiful lush landscaping
Pros:

This is an older hotel. The bed was comfortable. The shower is in the bathtub and they don't have any showers only. The courtyard is beautiful with many plants around the pool area and even has a koi pond. Our patio was completely private due to the landscaping. You need to go outside to go to your room and the restaurant is also a short walk outside. You get a discount at the restaurant if you're staying at the hotel. The restaurant is a beautiful setting overlooking the marina and the food is good.

Would stay there again, but would not paid the extra for a water view.
Pros:

Nice location. Big room with refrigerator, microwave, etc.

Cons:

I paid more for a water view, but the view was mainly of their big stage where I assume they have entertainment. Could see the harbor, but just a small part of view. Also disappointed their restaurant wasn’t open. The lounge was open, but pricey. We ate at the hotel next door the second night. Very good, and a wonderful view
