Stayed here with my boyfriend and mother in law. It was very quiet for the most part. Very family friendly. Dog friendly. Great views of the bay and the sea world drone show! The room was clean and pretty up to date! The atmosphere was very chill and the staff was helpful. Would 100% stay here again!
Location and patio with access directly to the bay was nice. View is amazing in the bay side. Parking not so great. Overall pretty nice and staff, especially housekeeping was prompt.
Parking. Not very man bay side rooms this there should be enough parking for one car per room. Junior suite should have had a better area to eat
Stayed here for two nights whilst on a California road trip.
The Bay Area itself from the hotel was nice if you wanted to hire a boat (we did for an hour for around $160 for a pontoon boat)
The tropical pool was quite busy - the bar was only open one day out of the two so was an effort to get yourself a drink other than the free water station.
Hot tub was a decent size.
Towels are down there for you to make use of.
The grounds were kept tidy.
Lobby area was fine.
There’s a little fgift shop and a small variety of food/drinks available to hug from reception too.
Firefly bar was average.
Parking is available - self park.
The rooms are like a motel style. We had a view on the marina.
We was in block 8 on the second floor - please note there are no lifts so we had to carry cases up the stairs.
Bathroom has a double sink
Air con was very powerful
There were a lot of bugs in the room - some sort of fly which kept landing on us in the night.
Cleaner woke us up every morning - even on the morning we was due to check out at 11 so that was annoying as hadn’t slept great due to noise from other guests - slamming doors etc (not the hotels fault)
we spoke with other guests who were all repeat guests so maybe we just got unlucky but it did put me off and I wouldn’t stay here again.
I had higher expectations unfortunately there weren’t met.

Hotel was able to supply interconnecting rooms, which was most important to us.
the Wifi was terrible, and the location has even worse 5G coverage inside the room.
really need to fix the wiFi - couldnt even email from the room.
Nice property in a nice location.
The price, the shuttle service isn't free and the restaurant caters mostly to adults. Also it advertised a S'more bar. No smores.

Lori was amazing. A+++ service. We had our friends and family fly in for a wedding. Not going to lie-some of our guests are needy, but Lori and the front desk were all extremely accommodating. All of our guests were very happy with Lori’s service!

Our family has been staying at The Dana on Mission Bay for more than 20 years, and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we’re in San Diego. The property is beautiful, the location is unbeatable, the food is consistently great, and the staff always goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Had both of our families staying at the Dana for our wedding down the street. Our stay was incredible. Great food, great rooms with a view and the staff was very friendly. Lori at the front desk is hands down the most helpful and sweet person here. She made sure to get almost all of my family in the same building, and that my parents and my grandmother were able to get connecting rooms, given that my grandmother is 93. She went above and beyond to accommodate our families and everyone had a trip of a lifetime. What a phenomenal weekend here at the Dana it’s the little things that make a huge difference in a vacation and Lori made sure we were all taken care of
