The property was good.
The rooms were older than I expected.
All the staff was incredibly helpful. I had one maintenance issue with my sink and they had it fixed ASAP.
Not at the fault of the hotel, but there was a softball tournament in town which meant the hotel was at capacity. The kids could be a bit loud in the hallways later into the evening. The staff did a great job trying to keep the noise down.
Comfortable room in a good location within easy reach from hendersonville
Loud A/C, got assigned the wrong room at first, very poor breakfast
did not have breakfast
All good
We have booked our room through a third party, a week prior to our arrival. It was supposed to have been a 2 queen bed plus a sofa, as we are traveling with 2 teenager boys. Upon entering the hotel, we were checked in and given our keys for the room. Not once during the check in process were we told that the room is not a 2 queen room anymore. So you can imagine our disappointment when we entered the room and we saw that it only had 1 king bed a sofa. We went back to the front desk and we were told that because we had booked through a third party, the room that we selected and paid for was not an automatic guarantee that we would receive that room and that it was the hotel's choice to assign rooms to the guests. Also, to make another note, a 2 queen bed is more expensive than a king bed, and not once were we offered the refund for the difference. We left the hotel and we did get our refund from the third party we booked the room from. It is just appalling that a hotel like Hyatt ( or their employees) would have such little disregard for their paying guests.
Great Hotel! Rooms were very nice and hotel staff were all great. Very happy with our stay and it was close to everything.
The breakfast was great. We loved all the options and how they switched it up each day. The location was perfect, it was quiet but still close to everything we needed. We were a short drive to both parks we used for our softball tournaments, so that was a plus too!! The hotel was rowdy but that was due to all the kids from the softball world. Overall we have no complaints, the staff was amazing and handled the busy week very well. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.
The rooms are not very sound proof! We could hear blenders (or something of the sort) and kids running/talking at 2 in the morning. Almost every night. We know that we are in a public place and it was a exciting week for all the kids so we didn't think to hard into it. Just an observation. 😃
At approximately 4:00 a.m., I woke up swatting at my right upper arm and discovered a bug in my bed, which I immediately killed. I brought the bug downstairs to the front desk, where Kale saw it while I explained what had happened. He was courteous and offered to move me to another room three separate times. Although I was hesitant, I eventually agreed to move to a room on the same floor but on the opposite side of the hotel. Unfortunately, the experience had already ruined my night. After finding a bug in my room, it was nearly impossible to feel comfortable or trust that another room in the same hotel would be any different. As a result, I was unable to get back to sleep and received virtually no rest for the remainder of the night.
The mattress is old and needs to be replaced, the pillows are terrible and slept terrible . Had kids running up and down the hallway and then to make matters worse, .they charged three dollars for a bottle of water that we did not even use. Stayed at this hotel numerous times throughout the years, but not anymore
Very nice hotel. Room was clean and everyone was friendly. Easy access to many restaurants and shopping centers. Quiet stay
Location
Breakfast wasn’t great and our air conditioning didn’t work properly
Overall, nice facility
We were actually there 3 consecutive nights, on 2 reservations (we added a day at the last minute). We kept the same room. Even though we requested, and the front desk told us they would, the room was never attended to. On the third day, we had to go to the front desk to get a fresh towel
I chose this location traveling from Tampa to Illinois and it was a good stopping point. Parking was close and available. Room exceeded expectations, it was big and ample sleeping arrangements. The breakfast was more than continental, included bacon, eggs, yogurt/ parfait bar, oatmeal bar, french toast, plentiful toppings, etc.
