Hyatt Place Atlanta / Norcross / Peachtree

Decent place , great value especially with Hyatt points.
Needs a little repair and updating but ok, and the staff is always great.

Hyatt Place Atlanta/Norcross/Peachtree – Areas for Improvement

During my stay, I noticed a few areas that could be improved:

Weak water pressure – The water pressure, particularly in the shower, was noticeably weak.
Shower and toilet plumbing – The plumbing fixtures could use maintenance or upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
Breakfast Bar variety – The Breakfast Bar offered the same menu each day. Rotating the menu and adding more variety would make the complimentary breakfast more enjoyable for guests.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but addressing these items would enhance the guest experience.

Very family-friendly, peaceful, and clean hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The wrong was definitely a value for what I paid. We did have some issue with the fire alarm, going off on the third floor in middle of the night; thankfully it was quickly remedied.

The hotel was clean. The bed was really hard. But alarms were going off in the middle of the night and people were yelling inthe hallway and nothing was being done about it. We were told that there was a malfunction in the alarm system. But the time that it was going it was clearly not a malfunction and the alarm system. Some kids or somebody was messing with the elevator, and then there were people yelling the hallway and staff did nothing to Help. When we complained about it at the front desk, they just gave us a piddly answer and didn’t offer to fix anything.

Mattresses were hard

We were made to stay at select hotels for a mandatory "stay to play" for the Atlanta Legacy softball tournament. This hotel was gross and not one I would ever have selected and certainly not as nice as other Hyatt hotels we have had to stay at. This hotel is in serious need of a renovation. The sleeping areas are small and I think the beds are full size and not queens. You can hardly turn around in the bathroom when shutting the door. The carpet is old and tattered. There's low popcorn ceilings. They have shower curtains that could be replaced. There is no laundry facility on site. The hallways aren't properly conditioned and it feels like the Amazon when you walk into it. The elevators are old and jumpy. The hallways and floors look visibly dirty and need to be repainted. They charge for parking. The "coffee" was watery and cold. The advertised bar can't make a simple cocktail. And to top it all off, this hotel is nowhere near any of the ball fields we were playing at.

Nothing

The hotel was near the conference I attended. The hotel was in a good location and close to many stores. Ease of access to the road. Each staff member was very nice and offered assistance when needed. The room was as described on Booking.com.

Staff members were great! Location was great !

OMG. talk about MUSTY and OLD. I mean yellow halls were so last century. This shack needs to be upgraded ASAP. If I could describe this is hotel in one word it would be CRUSTY. Very disappointing experience as a regular Hilton stayer.

Everything i love this place

I am very disappointed and my stay with it being my first time first I had a 6 month old with me at the time of stay and the bedding I was not pleased with which look like mold with I have pictures and videos of which was stated to me that it was feathers very disturbing to see that and having to sleep on that especially when this hotel was highly recommended to me apart from that the Ac and the lobby was hot and not having a ice machine on my floor I told to the manager ok site which she said it will be handled with a refund for my stay and refund for parking which I’m still waiting on this type of situation is unacceptable due to me having a baby in that condition I and very unsatisfied with it and it’s unacceptable I will be calling corporate to let them know

Location

The accommodation was clean, basic, appeared a bit worn, out dated. There was no drawer space other than the 3 small drawers on sink vanity which one had a hair dryer inside. The toilet felt on the floor for my partner who is 6 feet 5" . The breakfast was passable but nothing to get out of bed for. Maintenance had to bring (the next morning)the microwave that we were charged for but not in the room upon arrival. The also had to repair the toilet seat, it was missing a bolt. The elevators were extremely slow and we were on the top floor but we heard children up and down the halls early morning each day.
