Da cliente abituale Melia, non mi sarei mai aspettato un livello di servizio così distante dagli standard del marchio.

Esperienza assolutamente al di sotto degli standard che ci si aspetterebbe da una struttura a 4 stelle affiliata Melia.

Essendo un cliente abituale del gruppo Melia, ho scelto questa struttura con fiducia, aspettandomi il livello di qualità, comfort e attenzione al cliente che normalmente contraddistinguono il marchio. Purtroppo, questa esperienza è stata profondamente deludente.

La mia camera si trovava al sesto piano, dove erano in corso lavori di ristrutturazione. Alle 8:00 del mattino sono stato svegliato da rumori assordanti di trapani e attrezzature da cantiere che sono proseguiti senza interruzione per l’intera giornata. La situazione si è ripetuta anche il giorno successivo fino al pomeriggio, rendendo impossibile riposare o trascorrere del tempo in camera in condizioni accettabili.

Ho segnalato immediatamente il problema alla reception. Mi è stato risposto che i lavori non erano previsti, ma questa spiegazione è risultata poco credibile considerando che i rumori sono continuati per due giorni consecutivi. Ancora più grave è stato il fatto che non sia stata proposta alcuna soluzione concreta: nessun cambio camera, nessuna alternativa, nessun gesto commerciale, nemmeno un minimo tentativo di compensare un disagio tanto evidente. Mi sono state offerte soltanto delle scuse formali.

Ciò che trovo particolarmente inaccettabile non è tanto l’esistenza dei lavori, evento che può verificarsi in qualsiasi struttura, quanto il modo in cui è stata gestita la situazione. Un hotel di questa categoria dovrebbe mettere il cliente al centro e intervenire immediatamente per limitare l’impatto di un problema così grave. Invece ho avuto la sensazione che il disagio fosse considerato normale e che la soddisfazione dell’ospite fosse secondaria.

A peggiorare ulteriormente il soggiorno, erano presenti anche lavori stradali nelle immediate vicinanze dell’hotel, con conseguenti deviazioni che allungavano gli spostamenti in taxi.
