We were very happy with all the staff helpful and polite.
Pros:

Location perfect.

Cons:

I am nit one who complains so did not say anything about the 2 times i had pancakes fir breakfast.one pancaje waa burnt could nof eat ut and instead if pancajes second time gor 2 pieces of bread instead.thats the only thing i didnt like about the meals .

Je recommande vivement cet établissement et reviendrais à l'occasion !
Pros:

L'hotel est magnifique, on peux facilement se perdre à arpenter les murs remplis de tableaux. La chambre était trop cosy avec un lit très confortable et une belle salle de bain ! Le service est impécable et l'équipe a pu répondre à toutes nos demandes.

Lovely property with friendly staff!
Pros:

Excellent location, great staff, clean, well decorated, great view of the city. Quiet even though it’s on a very busy street.

As they don’t have many connecting rooms - the staff ensured our family was together - with rooms just across the hall from each other (many thanks!).

Cons:

Small things: no drawers/shelves in the room - only hanging (which always drives me crazy in a hotel) and the bed was not my favorite. Otherwise all was great.

Clean, tidy and comfortable

Cons:

Unfortunately, I had booked for the hotel on Princess Street but there was some problem so I was moved to the sister hotel. The reason for booking my original hotel was the location to the various venues where I had appointments. The replacement Hotel although only a 10 minute walk from the original actually doubled the walking time to the various locations where I had appointments. So not convenient.

Excellent hotel for downtown Edinburgh.
Pros:

Great location across the street from the train station. The breakfast food was very good, and the restaurant for dinner was excellent. Centrally located for walking around.
