Room very small - includes an angled wall.
Tv did not work and power points by bed did not work.
We were on the top floor which did not have a lift - staff should have told us that or offer another room -
Everything but especially the location

I recently visited for my partners birthday and we received a generous plate of chocolates to celebrate which was so thoughtful! The staff were amazing especially a young lady who checked us in. (I didn’t catch her name). The rooms were very clean and the location was perfect for our stay.
The only inconvenience we occurred was during the night late on there was water coming through our ceiling from the room above. After paying for an upgraded room for my partners birthday to have to quickly pack up and move to a downgraded room during the night was rather unexpected.
Heel centraal.
Personnel accueillant, super chambre, confortable, bien situé...
Rien
The room was spacious and clean. Depending on where the room is located, you might or might not hear the pub crawlers yelling at around 1 to 3 am. You can also hear the doors shutting. Although it didn't bother me, if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The mattress is just to my liking. For breakfast, there's a selection of fruits, yogurt, etc in addition to items on the menu. If you're planning on walking while exploring, this is the perfect location. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. I even walked to Edinburgh Castle. Of course, you can also catch the bus and trams right outside. Excellent staff at the reception. Since I arrived early, I left my bag with them and headed out to explore. Also, since I had an early checkout, another staff called a cab for me.
Prime location food and drink amazing relaxed atmosphere
Central hotel, very attentive staff both front desk and in the juniper bar. Immaculately clean throughout, our room was at the back of the hotel so no view and a bit noisey in the morning but this did not affect our overall stay. Staff in the bar were prompt and attentive.
Brilliant location opposite Waverley Station entrance. Wide selection of choice on the breakfast menu, plus access to the breakfast buffet. Room was a good size and housekeeping very good.
No complaints
