Pros:

The guest house sits close to the harbour, with the town and sights all in walking distance. The host was there to greet us and show us our room. He told us where we could eat & any local sights to see, which included the local grey seals, which we managed to see. The beds were comfortable & apart from a few passing boats in the morning, the room was quiet, despite overlooking part of the harbour. The premises don't provide breakfast, but there are numerous choices all within walking distance of the premises. There was ample free car parking at the rear of the premises.

Cons:

There is noting we didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ships Quarters in Eyemouth. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully presented, with real attention to detail throughout. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A fantastic place to stay.

New favourite stop en route to The Highlands
Pros:

Paid a bit more for the suite - absolutely worth it. Lovely clean property, great location with easy parking. Fabulous.

Super sauber und eine sehr zuvorkommende Vermieterin.
Diese wohnt im Haus und hat sicherlich ein großes Interesse, dass dieser sehr gepflegte Standard erhalten bleibt. Man hätte fast meinen können, dass man in eine FeWo auf Spiekeroog sei.

Die Unterkunft ist nichts für Menschen, die ihre Pension nicht sauber hinterlassen können und oder einfach nur feiern wollen.

Die Lage des Hauses ist direkt am Hafen. Einfach super zentral. Parken hinterm Haus war vor allem sicher. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man rein garnichts.

Cons:

Die Zimmertüren sind nicht ganz so schallisoliert.
Man hört Menschen auf dem Flur ungedämpft.
Da war aber kein Problem, da die anderen Gäste während meines Aufenthaltes allesamt sehr ruhig waren.

Vielleicht stellt es ein Problem für andere dar, aber das sehr saubere, moderne und für Zimmer Nr. 3 persönliche Badezimmer liegt auf dem Flur gegenüber und nicht direkt im Zimmer. Q

Lovely room under the roof for couple’s escapade
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Ships Quarters, the top floor little apartment was really nice. The living room looking over the harbour is perfect for relaxing after visiting the area and the bed is really comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a couple’s weekend.
The staff was very welcoming and everything was really easy!
