Cerca del aeropuerto que es lo que necesitamos
Muy antiguo
Relatively close to SoFi stadium
Old, run down bathroom, lights above night stand didn’t work properly, noisy surroundings, gross breakfast, sketch neighborhood
The breakfast was great. There were so many options. The woman taking care of things in the breakfast room did an excellent job of keeping things clean and refilling things constantly.
The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. I had to ask them to fix my key card several times they always did it with a smile.
The wifi was terrible. There was no good wifi in our room, the breakfast room, or anywhere we walked or sat in the hotel. If someone is travelling for work, they should not stay here.
Good location. Kind staff. Very good cold and warm breakfast. Comfortable beds. Plenty parking plots.
Joint-smells everywhere. Not the cleanest bathroom. Soaked ceiling.
La cercanía al aeropuerto
Es muy básico, solo para pasar la noche
Clean and functional. Breakfast was adequate for our needs.
Decor is a little dated.
This is NOT a four star hotel as rated. Positives - 5km to LAX (the reason we were there), the staff were fine, the room was huge and there was plenty of hot water. The negatives? The hotel is very, very tired and a little grimy. Not unclean but desperately in need of a refresh. Breakfast was part of the price but we didn’t have it, and the pool was nice - if absolutely freezing! The area (not its fault) is extremely sketchy also. I walked to the 7-11 and felt like an NPC in GTA5; many shady characters around and the area is filthy. Google says that the hotel has a shuttle on demand - it does not. Price wise it was ok I guess - cost us $250 AUD for the night which is still a lot for what it is.
In short, I would not recommend unless you had not better option.
On July 3, I called the hotel to ask about the room and I mentioned it would be myself and my husband and two children and she told me that the room wouldn’t fit the children because the pullout bed was too small. The front desk clerk didn’t offer me any other room so I said well you have to cancel it then because I have to bring my children with me.

Location and price
Paying for using hotel parking, it should be included, not as an extra fee
Stayed for 2 nights for 2 rooms with my friend. This hotel good location near airport so easy to go when I arrived from an international flight around midnight in LAX. The staff are accommodating because I extended my stay for another night and we love the breakfast here.
Breakfast was good. Beds were nice and location to some restaurants in 3 minute walk. Table and chairs in room. Allowed us to leave luggage free of charge while we awaited our flight
Not that we didn't like it but the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom and instead in the main area with the beds which we found unusual. The lights near the bed weren't working, making a strobing effect so we used the bathroom light instead
We checked in around 11:30 PM, and receptionist used decent language in dealing with us, but he completely misunderstood our situation. We were “pre-assigned” a certain room, and it wasn’t movable. This is fine. What wasn’t fine is that the set of keys that were given to us didn’t work. I told my father to tell the front desk receptionist to send someone. My cousin, who was already a hotel guest, agreed that something was wrong with the door. However, the employee seemed reticient to admit that the keys were wrong, and insisted we were incorrect somehow. He was saying that our technique was wrong, and he sent another set of keys with my father, and those did not work. Finally, after I showed him a video of us doing it exactly per the accepted technique, he came directly to our room and gave us a new key that actually worked. He did this same technique on the sets of cards already given to us, and the door did not open. Why couldn’t he have given us this key in the first place?!, and that our keys didn’t work because someone else “pre-assigned” that (I don’t know how that works with the fact we were given two separate sets of keys, with all four cards not working). The receptionist was levelheaded throughout this encounter, but wasn’t willing to apologize on the behalf of anyone, and instead shifted blame to “someone else”. I can see how the situation could have been agitating to him, but I still don’t understand why we had to get three separate sets of keys to open the door. Total waste of time.
I think the only solution to this would be to embrace NFC technology so there’s no ambiguity on the cardreader being discharged/unusuable/technique wrong/etc. Many other hotels have used this technology, and I’m certain this issue of “someone else” having misprogrammed the keys would have been resolved much faster without confusion over using these doors. I think the conflict resolution skills are fine, but inconveniences such as these need more concrete resolution instead of bickering.
Ubicación muy buena
