The location, the pool, the staff, the restaurant all were amazing. I’ll recommend and stay here again
Didn’t like the fact we had to walk through a cloud of smoke while people are smoking. We had our 21 month old with us and she had to breathe in the smoke .The only parking left was near the smoking area and had to walk through the smoking area
Good location. Staff were excellent and very friendly.
This is a copy of my email to the manager which was not responded to
I am writing firstly to complain about the quality of the breakfast. I tried to talk with the restaurant manager both yesterday and today but he is either not in or did not call me back. In my opinion the breakfast buffet is one of the worst that I have had for years (and I stay in many hotels each year). The selection is poor - only sweet (low fat?) yogurt with hard melon bits whereas most other hotels provide a selection, only two cheap breads and no pastries, no fresh fruit, two cheap cereals and no healthy alternatives, the eggs were cold and congealed, the bacon hard and overcooked etc.
The front desk say that this is ‘included in the price’, however, I chose the option on Booking.com which cost £35 ($50) extra. The breakfast is so poor that I am not eating here on my second morning.
I am also really disappointed with the room. The web site says newly refurbished, which is true, and the room is clean but very basic. The bed creaks when you get in or out. The lighting is appalling. There is no chair or sofa. Again, the room compares poorly with many other similarly priced hotels in Calgary. When I mentioned this to your front desk, they explained that the facilities are better in your premium rooms but I don’t accept that I have to pay more to get what is standard in many other hotels.
On a positive side, all of the staff are excellent. The service was great. The dinner was good. The pool and hot tub were very good (but I would have liked a robe to wear to go outside).
The rooms are comfortable and quite large, excellent food menu, tons of options good quality food and cheap room service. Love the free breakfast buffet every morning and I love that they rotated it with new items. The staff is incredibly friendly I stayed there a couple years ago and it was nice to return to the same staff as before. The housecoats are incredibly soft. They have a fine dining restaurant, a lounge with vlts, a bakery and a small convenience store and a tap House
Last year when I stayed the year-round heated pool was a lot warmer unfortunately this year I only use the pool one of the days because the pool was much colder than I remember which was disappointing. I did plan my stay specifically for the outdoor heated pool
Best hotel stay in calgary. Pool, hot tub, steam room felt like a spa, free breakfast and 15$ voucher, makes it same price as a low class hotel. Except this is a very nice place.

It was comfortable and clean and the service was excellent.
I wish the alternative pillows were in the room. If you have four fat pillows, why can't you do two fat and two thin ones. A simple switch that doesn't leave anyone out.
An average hotel. Clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool and hot tub were nice.
Dinner was good. Breakfast very limited and inferior to most other mid-range hotels.
All except the view
The view
Breakfast was good nice selection of food. Rooms were very clean and and beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to book there again
Was terrible. Renovations was happening all through the night.
Couldn’t sleep due to all the noise in the hallway from the workers and tools
Like hotel, restaurant, location and staff.
We stay here once or twice every month. Unless you book directly with the hotel, you are relegated to an older room that needs upgrading. It is cheaper but you get what you pay for I am afraid. You must ask for a newer room and take your chances.
