Surprise car parking fee is
Cons:

There's a $10 parking fee per car that I wasn't aware of until the rang it up, when i asked what the $10 charge was for, she replies with it's right here and points to a stand alone document holder with a printed sheet of paper that says as of January of 2026; an additional $10 will be charged. I said you might want to update your advertising since I can't read that when I'm reserving the room,.

Mediocre hotel but it got the job done.
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The hotel overall feels old and a little run down. The first room we were put into smelled like cigarettes and we had to ask to move. The front desk staff did their job but lacked any sense of warmth or welcome.

We were disappointed to to our stay and may look elsewhere in the future.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

We’ve stayed at Maple Tree Inn for over 6 years and always loved it, but this visit was disappointing. The new parking fee is frustrating—especially since the lot is uncovered, unsupervised, and still “park at your own risk,” while other nearby hotels offer free parking.

The rooms also seem to be going downhill. Our shower didn’t drain well, water pressure was poor, and there was a loud bathroom fan that stayed on past the time we were told it would shut off.

Sadly, this experience is making us consider staying elsewhere after many years of loyalty.

Clean, safe place for business trip exceeded our expectations.
Pros:

We wanted a simple, clean and safe place to stay during our 10 day business trip in the South Bay. Maple Tree Inn turned out to be more than we had hoped for.

Even though dated, the hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful across the board. Breakfast was sufficient.

We used the fitness room, laundry room and pool area - all clean and sufficient.

We’ll definitely stay here on our next trip to the area.
