I’d happily stay at this property again, purely for the good views and kind staff.
Pros:

The hotel had a beautiful view that made my stay more enjoyable. Waking up to such stunning scenery was definitely a highlight. The staff I saw were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, always happy to assist with any questions or requests. Their excellent customer service really made me feel comfortable and well looked after. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would happily stay here again.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. When I arrived, there was hair on the bed that appeared to have been left by a previous guest, and the floor had multiple visible stains, which made the room feel unclean and slightly uncomfortable. For the price of $270 per night, I expected the room to be thoroughly cleaned and presented to a much higher standard, with fresh bedding. Sadly, this wasn’t the case, which took away from what could have otherwise been a much more enjoyable stay.

Pros:

Beautiful view, comfortable bed, facility was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Everything was in close proximity.
We would definitely come back to stay and recommend to friends and families

Bed was very hard, pillows also. Both my partner and I woke every couple of hours trying to get comfortable. Have stayed previously and bed was amazing but this time. Not great at all

Excellent
Pros:

We always stay at the Grand Chancellor when staying in Townsville. The Staff are always helpful and friendly and check in and out are seemless. Rooms are always clean and the beds are comfy. Its close to everything we need. The dinner we ordered was delicious.
