There was no breakfast provided. We had to go to Ricky's.
The staff were lovely. We used the shuttle to the airport which was good but a little slow. Room was very spacious.
The bathroom was kinda gross. Generally I found the price expensive for this type of hotel.
The staff were very friendly and did thier best.
Located in a bad, drug center, air-conditioning was not working and the tube to the window diconnected when I tried to move it. lights had to be unplugged to plug it in the airconditioning. The appliances in the room were all on power bars, cheap ones and I would say not up to code. Old stained carpets. However the stay was superb.
The location was ok. Being so close to Ricky's is excellent the breakfast there was great. Access to taxi's first thing in the morning was excellent. No need to call or wait outside with all the homeless. Cabs are sitting there ready for you to run out and jump in.
Where to start. The room was extremely hot. I checked the portable AC unit and readjusted the exhaust hose, so it was actually outside. But didn't realize it was disconnected at the unit. So, the hot exhaust was blowing back into the room. The shower would not fully engage so water pressure was about half, and the shower head was level with my chest. Worse thing was there is no way to get to Tim Hortons from inside the mall you have to go outside. When I first arrived, I had 3 homeless people harass me for money. Then in the morning security had to chase a drug dealer away from me who wanted me to purchase drugs. Perhaps if I was there under different circumstances I could have partook in the Northern Light tours.
It was quite
There was no parking, parking maximum is 2 hours street parking. From desk told me to keep moving my car which is unrealistic at a a hotel. I received a ticket that l now have to pay because the hotel has no proper arrangements even for paid parking. There was no wifi the three days l was there . There was no staff to clean on Sunday towels were everywhere on the floors with no one to pick them up
Bathroom bed
Fire alarms and no hot water
Beds bathrooms
Fire alarms no shower until hot water
ロケーションが良い。買い物に便利。
3日滞在中2日間でぬるま湯しか出ずシャワーができなかった。
Staff was very helpful. Let us stay until 12 pm past check out.
No heat, no hot water until the morning. Fire alarm woke us up early. Water pipes busted in the lobby entrance.
Never stay again
Cold, Old, Small, you cannot expect the quality. You can hardly survive.
Older building, area a little sketchy
good
Window broken
Won’t close
I like that that location is right in middle of town with lots of food options available as well as supermarket nearby. Top marks for location. It couldn't be better. It is also the most value for money option, albeit in the expensive town of Yellowknife. The room and facilities are pretty decent. They were also kind enough to extend the checkout time which was something that we really needed at that time.
When we stayed there, Yellowknife's main road in & out of town was closed due to wildfire. Unfortunately, it was also hazy. The room's central air conditioner is not working but a portable aircon is provided and you have to stick the exhaust hose out of a window. This means that the hazy air can also come in. Although this is not the hotel's fault, I just did not feel safe with some of the people hanging near the hotel.
good location, dt area but homeless at the front door
